I have two little dogs, both under 10lbs, one that is getting older and has hip and back issues, so it is important he doesn't jump off of high surfaces such as furniture and our bed. This set is light enough to move from place to place with me and is great quality that will last a long time. It is made of a foam so even when my two year old attempts to "climb" these stairs it won't damage them and they keep their form. This three step micro suede stair set has a cover that is removable and easy to wash as well, which is a huge bonus. The foam really does hold its shape and I see these lasting a long time. I will say these are too short for our bed, but wonderful for our other furniture! If you are needing something to move easy and to help your pet on and off furniture this item is exactly what you want! Purchased these steps specifically for my couch. Our pug injures herself jumping off any furniture. We already had stairs for the bed, but needed stairs for the couch.Yes, these are much shorter than the typical plastic pet stairs, but they are perfect for the height of a couch. The stairs do easily move around, so we have to put them back quite often (we have wood floors). They move some as the dog goes down them. Adding grips on the bottom would be helpful.Our pugs use them multiple times a day. They seem to be holding up very well! I ordered this because I had a low to the ground bed (and a small bedroom) and I wanted something that if I tripped over it would not hurt me or my husband. I like it and ordered a second one which after a month had not shipped. I like it, the cat seems to use it (older cat), I wish I had gotten the second one. If you have a standard bed on box springs, it will not assist. If you have a low to the floor bed, this is a great for cats (or VERY small dogs). If you are thinking about ordering be sure to measure and assess the size. Again a great thing is if you run into it at night, you will not end up with a serious bruise on your shin.

This is a great product. It functions as expected and is very sturdy. I have 3 pups, and even my 60 lb. lab uses the bottom step to get on the sofa! My other babies are much smaller, so the steps are ideal for them.My favorite aspects of this product are its size and the ability to clean the stairs. It's annoying to have huge steps in my living room, so I was ecstatic to see the size of this product. Everyone with pets knows how important accessibility is in cleaning certain products. Not the same size as pictured....we laughed at it size when we got it… Because we have one that is the size pictured… But found that our dog still can use it and it is much smaller so we have put it in the living room so the dog can jump onto the couch..... ( I added the second picture to show you the size difference of what we thought we were buying.). I gave it four stars because our dog can use it and being that it's much smaller it's not as cumbersome as the big one would have been.

Best stairs I ever purchased for my dachshunds! They used them as soon as I put them down in front of the sofa. I am going to buy two more. They were just the right size and nice and firm. I like that they can dig their back paws into the step to get up. Other hard wood stairs I've purchased they would slide off and not get any traction and they never used them. This gives a great firm support and a little spring they need to get up. LOVE this product!! My dachshund is 13 pounds and she has IVDD and this has allowed her to climb up to the sofa and not further hurt herself. They are honestly the best stairs I've ever purchased. They come as seen in the pic covered in a plastic bag, no need to assemble anything which was awesome and the cover comes off to wash if needed. Awesome product!!!

These steps are a godsend. My wife's yorkie, for some odd reason, can't jump up. We got these steps to lead up to the bench in front of our bed. They work perfectly for him. Yes it did take some time for him to learn, but once we taught him how to use it, he now uses it on his own. It's made out of some thicker, dense foam with a nice cover. It's nothing to write home about, but compared to a lot of other products it's good for the price.~~~~~~~~~~~~I can't believe how many people give this product bad reviews b/c of their ignorance. Just because it "didn't work" due to being too lazy to teach your pet how to use it or it "doesn't fit" because you DIDN'T measure before hand doesn't mean it deserves negative reviews. Unbelievable.

My 9 pound JackChi uses these all the time. It took her a day or two to get used to going up and down them, but now it's no big deal. I would have given it 5 stars, except the fabric is a bit loose on one of the steps. Other than that, it seems well made. Oh, one more thing, I wish the top step was an inch or two taller, it's a bit short compared to my couch, but my dog doesn't mind.
