A Comfortable, Discrete and Absorbent Adult Diaper
These are great adult diapers. Even though they are called "Briefs" in the description, they are in fact a tape-on diaper. Some people get this confused when they order and are disappointed when they receive a diaper rather than pull-ups or disposable absorbent underpants. The term brief is universally used for this type of product in adults, even though it confuses most people. These are great for people who have urge incontinence where they get a sudden strong urge and empty their bladder before they can get to a toilet resulting in a sudden large volume loss of urine. I would recommend this product for people who will be using these instead of using a toilet. They have refastenable tabs, but are difficult to remove when you are in a rush to use the bathroom. Since they are a diaper, they can easily substitute for a toilet without any problem. For those who have better control, I would suggest using pull-ups which are easier to pull down in a hurry and can be used more for just in case, rather than relying on them fully for toileting needs. Now onto the product. This diaper is relatively thin, about the thickness of 3 pairs of cotton underpants. The outer cover is cloth-like rather than plastic. This makes the product quieter to wear without the telltale plastic rustle and less sweaty between the legs. The outer cover has a center wetness indicator to let you know when the diaper is wet, a great help for those who will be caring for someone who uses them. There are four tabs to secure the diaper to your waist, the bottom tapes ensure the leg cuffs are snug and the top tapes keep the waist comfortably snug. The tapes are a combination of hook and loop and adhesive and have a bit of stretch to them. They can be refastened several times, but can rip the diaper if not opened carefully. There are wide leg bands with three strands of non-latex elastic to prevent leaks at the legs, where most people will experience leaks. The lining is very soft to the touch and feels smooth and comfy next to the skin. There are tall leak guards inside the leg cuffs that run the length of the diaper, they provide secure containment of stool and help to prevent urine leaks at the legs. There is no elastic in the waistband. The padding is a modified rectangle that is a bit wider in the back which helps for those who will be using them mostly in bed laying on their backs. The padding does not extend into the wings in the front, which may be a problem for men who are side sleepers since there is not any padding on the sides. The sides of the diaper are breathable, which makes them feel less sweaty when wearing them. The padding is a combination of super absorbent polymers (SAP) used in all modern baby diapers and curly fiber cellulose wood pulp, it is very compacted when removed from the package and the instructions on the side of the package recommend folding the diaper lengthwise before putting it on to fluff up the padding a bit and ensure the leak guards are standing up. They are reasonably easy to apply yourself if you have the use of both hands, but may be a challenge for those with limited dexterity or those who are unstable to stand. They may require assistance in changing these as with any other tape on diaper. Once they are on, they fit very well and I can easily wear a medium at 190 lbs. Many diapers that are labeled medium barely fit me, but I have room to spare in these. They fit higher in the back than in the front and when taped snugly have a generous pocket in the seat to allow for stool containment if you will be using these for bowel incontinence. Many other diapers are so snug in the seat that there is no room for stool to go but up the cleft of the buttocks and out the back of the diaper, the dreaded blow out. Even when taped on snugly, the leg bands do not dig into the skin like many other adult diapers, which is helpful for those with sensitive skin and makes them so much more comfortable to wear. They are wide in the crotch to prevent leaks, but due to their thinness, they all but disappear under all but the tightest fitting pants or shorts. They make absolutely no noise when walking. They will show above the waistbands of most bottoms,, so I would suggest tucking your shirt in or wearing a shirt with a longer tail, so the top of the diaper does not show when getting into/out of a chair or bending over. They are very, very comfortable to wear and it is easy to forget you have them on unlike other diapers that are thicker or cut a different way. I can get 6 hours of wear time out of each diaper during the day and I use a thicker diaper at night (Abena M4), but these would like work overnight for most people. They absorb urine very quickly and within minutes of use they feel completely dry like you did not even have an accident. The padding swells as expected as the diaper is used, but even with a fair amount of swelling, they are still discrete since they start out so thin when they are dry. Even when they are very full, they do not allow urine back through the lining and keep the skin dry. You can press a piece of paper towel on the inside and it will be almost dry even though the diaper is full enough to be changed. They do a pretty good job of controlling urine odor as long as you are drinking enough water to keep your urine dilute. Wear this product with confidence, it will allow you to get out of your house and live your life without the worry of always having to find a bathroom on short notice or having an accident. I recommend them without reservation to anyone dealing with bladder and/or bowel incontinence.

Discreet, thin, highly absorbant. Easy to pack for changes.
I have issues with frequent and sudden urination. Most of the time during the day at work I wear incontinence pads or underwear as I have ready access to a bathroom. Apart from Abena m4’s I have not had any good experiences from a cloth backed disposable for long outings. Problem with Abena’s are that they ARE NOT discreet. I have learned to deal with people possible seeing that I have protection on or what I’m carrying to and from public restrooms to change and I trust plastic Backed products to perform even if they don’t offer the privacy I would like. Ordered these under impression that they were a plastic backed product. I was very disappointed to learn they had switched to a very thin cloth backed diaper when they arrived. Tried them out at home anyway on the weekend and have to say I am VERY impressed. They are able to hold two full voids without worry while active and cutting grass. Three gets a bit risky. I wore these to Disney world with my kids Monday and took 4 of these and two Abena’s just in case. Ended up only changing once, made it to the bathroom twice, voided in the Molicare 3 times before I made it to a bathroom to change. I have to say the thinness and breathability are absolutely amazing. I never would have trusted this product just looking at it. The thinness and price will make this my go to everyday Diaper as long as I’m able to find a restroom within an hour or two to change. Otherwise I will stick to Abena’s for long days without a bathroom, (I.e. hiking, Fishing) Abena’s tend to give away what your wearing when they start to swell, the Molicares wick and spread it out. They don’t scream HEY! I just peed my diaper everytime you have a void. They are amazing at holding urine, but if you have a loose bowel movement and walk around, it tends to leak through the cloth leg guards. If I’m having a rough stomach day, I can’t trust these in public. But for discreetness and packing space in your changing bag, these diapers are a great prouduct. I am very happy with them and they are now my new wear to work and public use product, just ordered a few more packs. Don’t be fooled by how thin they are. This is an amazing product for everyday use.
