Learn closely what the heart is saying
If you're looking to understand what the ECG and EKG are telling you about the heart then this is a perfect book for you to start understanding how to interpret them. I purchase this book for my niece who is starting to become a cardiologist. It is so important that she can be able to interpret the readings to identify and pinpoint specific or rare problems. The way the author Nathan Orwell explains things was very clear to help you understand the electrocardiograph and determine if your patient has arrhythmia. The breakdown of the specific anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system as it relates to the EKG and ECG was profound. This book will really help her get a jump start on interpreting these readings.

A well written book
Learn to read a twelve Lead ECG and diagnose and treat arrhythmias. I got this book for my grand daughter, who is going into the medical field and she says its a great book for learning. And she can teach me how to read one, because I go to the cardiologist and have this done quite a bit. This book list a number of diagnosis and treatment after having done an ECG/EKG.

1st year med student who only grasped EKGs until this book.
1st year med student who only grasped EKGs until I read this book. Every med student should purchase and keep this book. Obviously it cannot be compared to high dollar school books that are more detailed and precise. Yet this life saver helps so much on understanding EKGs, which is such a complex topic for me. This book is simple and straightforward - exactly what I need! Before reading this book, there is a block in moving forward into more complex topics. After reading this book, moving on to more complex books is now more of a breeze!

It is great Helpful guide.
A good primer for ECG (not EKG - I'm not German) and basic cardio physiology. Some issues with fonts in the mac desktop Kindle app. You also get a free ACLS pdf book if you're willing to follow their Instagram and send them a message.

Don't Buy
I bought this book as a refreshment for my ECG interpretation skills. This book has grammatical errors and inverted/mirrored images of words underneath hard to view ECG images. This is not an easy to follow book because of its poor flow of content. Some information is wrong and I had to pen in the correct values. I do not recommend buying this book to learn from.

Very Small Book, NO images = not helpful
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this book. It's very thin, lacks images, errors in the grammar. Hard to follow. How can I trust this for school? I can't. It's unfortunate that Amazon even sells this. Do NOT buy.- Nurse in the making.

Great ECG/EKG resource
This book is great for a first year med student, and for anyone who would have an ECG/EKG. Nathan Orwell wrote the book using easy to understand language that non medical persons can easily grasp the interpretations. Nathan then goes on to describe some of the diagnosis and treatments. It is well worth the price of the book.

Great Job!
I bought the book intrigued by the beautiful cover, and I must admit I was very enthusiastic about it.The book is written very well, simply and clearly.Of course it is not a 500-page manual, but it does the job.I am a medical student and I really appreciate the language and the way the content is presented.Highly recommended for all nursing students.

Little gem!
Wow.I usually don't write amazon reviews but I'm a first year medical stident that was kinda grasping EKGs until I read this book. There's a reason why the cardiologist that teaches us uses this book as his reference. Our professor is excellent but this book is something else. Truly worth every penny. Can't wait to recommend this to my whaose class. I believe that every medical student (or other health sciences) should purchase and keep this book. Sure, some things will become second nature especially if you have a strong interest in the topic. However, this book makes difficult concepts very simple and it's a really easy read. Really recommended

easy to understand even if you're not a nurse.
This book is a must have if you want to learn the basics of understanding ecg, and beyond. It's hard to learn that kind of stuff, but this book is well organized and easy to understand even if you’re not a doctor. I'm not a nurse, just needed that, well, for my personal reasons. Anyways, it was very helpful, thank you.

Pochissime immagini
Pochissime immagini, molto descrittivo a parole, pochi esempi. Manca tutta la parte di esempio specifico delle singole problematiche con ecg reali
