Sturdy and affordable alternative to a typewriter pad
I bought this to use under my typewriter to prevent it from sliding and to deaden some of the extra noise. It works great for that! You can see, even on Amazon, you can't really find any made for typewriters that sell for less than $40, but this is just about exactly what they're selling for that price. This is even thicker and it's the perfect size for almost all typewriters, at least ones from the 50s and newer. I like the brand. I like that it's eco-friendly. I trust the brand more than a lot of the others out there. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

There is nothing I don’t love about this mat! It is everything and more than advertised..
I use the pressing pad for pressing quilt blocks. I keep it beside my sewing machine to press seams as I add pieces to my block. The 14”x14” size is perfect for this. I put a piece of cardboard underneath the mat so I can use steam without worry of moisture penetrating the pad however in the week I have been using the pad, I have seen no evidence of moisture penetration. I have been using steam to press the seams of my quilt block for crisp definition of each piece. I use the wool setting with good results. The pad is just the right size to press a quilt block with room to rest my iron between attaching each piece to the block. It is small enough to take to quilt classes or to a friend’s house for an afternoon of sociable sewing. My pad has absolutely no woolly odor and both sides are smooth with no lumps. My pad arrived two days after I placed my order on Amazon. The cost was more than half the price I found at my local quilt store for a similar pad. Normally I would support my quilt store vs. buying on line but I could not have paid the price they were asking. I buy enough there to more than eases my conscience! In the attached photo the block on the left was pressed at my ironing board. The block on the right was pressed with my Ecoigy wool pressing pad. I don’t know if you can see the difference in the crispness of definition of the block pieces on your screen, but in “real life” it is remarkably evident. This pad has improved the quality of my piecing tremendously! I am literally thrilled with your product! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Great product and makes ironing easier. I didn’t realize you shouldn’t use steam with these wool mats though???

For the size of most of what I'm sewing so need to press, this is what I grab.
I like that I don't have to break out my ironing board and can just pull out this mat for most of what I need to iron. I read in the reviews that some people have this wool stick to their iron and they can't get it off so the first thing I did was sew a sleeve for it and hot glued the last edge to make it fit snugly and close it in forgod. I also made a canvase tote for it (Find instructions for many on youtube) and I put a zipper in the top because I looked it up and their are plenty of wool bugs out there. Best to keep it zipped up and covered in that material.I've used it for plenty of fat quarters and smaller sewing project as well as at least 10 iron tee-shirt decals I bought on Amazon. This is the right size. All turned out perfect. I would buy this again but I'm sure it will last me forever.

Well priced, decent wool pressing mat for quilting.
The mat )1/2 inch thick) is great but, do not attempt to use the pins for any type of sewing they are very rough basically unusable. . I would suggest the seller remove them from the pack because the bring down the quality of the main product. The little case, tape, and snips were ok. but again not necessary as the buyers for this type of product are likely to have these things.I would recommend this product and company.

Great product for price.
Fits perfect in intended space. No scent. Works quite well for a small area. I have set up on a wood shelf that can diffuse steam, so when using a steam iron, no condensation forms. But, all in all, good value for the cost.

Does what I expected
Yes it smells a bit funky, but that’s expected. It also works as intended. I used the eyeglass case as a scissor hanger. I would purchase again.

Perfect size for sitting on the ironing board, and that 'wooly' scent is lovely.
The ironing mat arrived at 2 p.m. and was being used by 2:30 p.m. It was lovely just to press fabric on, the smell was typical of warm damp wool and was not unpleasant at all. I can imagine it will make pressing quilted squares a dream, as they wouldn't move and would benefit from heat on both sides. Very pleased with this item, and the price was much cheaper than comparable products, not to mention the added treats with a storage pouch - bonus!
