Fiesta 28-Ounce Gusto Bowl, Turquoise

Love the fiesta ware. I love how you can mix and match colors. The Gusto bowl is a nice meal soup bowl.

Trendy is not in my blood and neither is collecting. But this stuff is like crack! I don't plan to start collecting but it's tough. I love simple, well-made and art deco...so, wish me luck.These 4 Gusto bowls are my first Fiestaware pieces. I make a lot of chili, chicken & dumplings, pearled couscous etc. and wanted some stout bowls to serve in. These are indeed stout! Nice, heavy, excellent price, beautifully colored and perfect for the foods I serve.I agree with other reviewers about storage being a thing. I can stack them only 2-deep in my deepest (bowl) kitchen drawer. Otherwise, no complaints. They clean up easily and are a joy to hold in one's hand. I swear I only want a few more pieces, that's all!

This is a huge bowl!!! I love it. I use it all of the time. Well made and made in the USA.I noticed that someone mentioned the unstackability of these bowls. I really have no issue with that. They do tip a bit when in the other bowl but they don't fall out. I bought a total of 4 and I have two and two stacked. No issues.I call these our "Jethro" bowls,(those of you of a certain age will know what I'm talking about!!) They can hold so much more food than what they seem. I'm very happy with that since my husband loves to eat huge bowls of cereal. They hold a lot of soup, posole and green chile stew!They are heavy and very strong. I'm glad that I made the switch from made in China crap dishes to these beautiful, sturdy made in the USA Fiesta bowls and dishes.

Was looking for a large bowl to replace one I'd used for years that shattered when I dropped it unexpectedly. This one has the same capacity as the old bowl but is narrower and deeper which makes it ideal for my daily large bowl of oatmeal. It is thicker and sturdier than the bowl I was using. I have a feeling it would have survived the drop. One unexpected pleasure is the color, which is much deeper and vibrant then what appears on my device. Someone commented that this is not true Fiestaware, but my bowl does have a maker's mark, that and its quality would speak to its authenticity. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase.

Much needed

I use this bowl for everything: cereal, oatmeal, salad, nachos, soup, ice cream, sandwiches (cut up into smaller pieces), and even as a drinking cup.I even use it to cook and bake. For example, the bowl is 24 ounces or 3 cups (1 cup = 8 ounces), many bread recipes use 3 cups of flour. Need 4 cups of flour? You can just fill the bowl 1/3 of the way to get 1 cup and then add it to the previous 3 cups measured out. You can also place diced vegetables into the bowl and measure ingredients that way.The bowl is also easy to clean. I have not encountered any food stains that require intense scrubbing. Another nice addition is that the bowl does not heat up easily. I've eaten hot noodles out of it and used it to microwave food without my hands being burnt when touching the bowl.Note, the bowl is 6 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. It is compact and durable enough to take to school or work. Just cover the top with aluminum foil and tie a rubber band around it.At the time, this was the cheapest bowl I could find for $15.

Purchased this as a birthday present for the cereal-lover in my life. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. True Fiestaware quality and the color is just gorgeous in person. I can't wait to wrap it up and give it to them. Now they can start every morning like Saturday morning!

I love the bowl, but having to pay shipping was not good! I’d buy more if shipping were free!
