Works great, but might be questionable if you need to use extreme force for a frozen housing.
I ordered a new reverse osmosis housing with a ridged end cap. This fit perfect and worked very well to tighten it. However, I have a 20 year old old membrane housing with a smooth end cap, and this would not work for that. The other end did fit and worked fine too for my sediment and carbon filter housings. Just obviously turn in the same plane as you are turning so that so you don't somehow snap it in half. Its true its not the strongest plastic, so you do need to be careful. my 20 year old housing only wrench is also plastic buts it much more durable, impossible to snap even while smashing it with a hammer to get the housing to break loose ... Not sure it would be safe to do it with this one. If you found this review useful, please vote accordingly. Thanks

Awesome, makes changing filters easy
I wish I had ordered one of these 10 years ago. I have always struggled to loosen/tighten the filter housing using a strap wrench. This fits perfectly and makes it so much easier.

Doesn’t fit my system and it appears a bit flimsy for a “wrench’.
I have a Watts Premiere R/O TFM 55V system and it doesn’t fit. It’s too big for the filter canisters - not sure if the small side would fit the r/o membrane housing cap because I didn’t have to remove tubing on that cap. But, to tell you the truth, I’m kind of glad that it didn’t fit so I could return it. It appears to be a bit flimsy for a “wrench” - I mean ... a plastic “wrench”? I’m not surprised to read that other people are stating that it broke on the first use. It’s the kind of thing that would probably work just fine if the filters are just a little tighter than hand-tight and you have no other issues.

I've been changing the RO filters for years now struggling getting the housings open, I should've got this years ago.

The wrench does not fit the membrane house.
