Incredibly Disappointing, I was sad to return it
I first discovered Red Canoe almost a year ago and fell in love with almost all of their designs, seriously their designers deserve praise.However this bag has been a tremendous disappointment.Firstly just getting the bag to me was a nightmare but that is the responsibility of the shipping company and I won't address it here.The design of this bag is stunning and optically I really like it. However Red Canoe really needs to find a better supplier. The strap "broke" almost immediately on day one, when the bag was empty.If you look at the image below you will see that the clip that affixes the strap to the bag has seperated.Basically this type of mechanism is made by inserting the cylindrical part into a hole.The hole is then normally pressed into a slight oval shape so that the cylinder can still be rotated but can not fall out.Every bag I own with this style of strap is like this.However with this bag the manufacturer hasn't bothered to reshape the hole part. So if you hold the bag at the wrong angle the cylindrical part simply falls out.This was the same for both fixtures.For a bag that cost over 100 dollars this is either unacceptable penny pinching or pathetic quality control.Tldr: Looks great, strap is garbage, if you are in Germany don't ship with DPD/Hermes
