Easy to install and the magnet is strong enough to hold but the door is still easily opened.

The magnetic catches were used for custom built closet cabinets. The catches are attractive and match the finish of the same brand hinges quite nicely. Easy to install and the magnets are appropriately strong closing the cabinet. A good value for the money.

Very strong magnets

I used these in two applications - on old cabinet doors and on older wardrobe doors.The wardrobe needed to have an extra piece of wood added to give this hardware something to seat into. Make sure you have at least an inch of same-level wood to attach the bigger end to or can add one.The screws are small and well chosen for the application. In both of my spaces they did what they needed to do without threatening to poke through any of the surfaces.The magnet are strong enough to catch and hold a door as it swings shut, even a fairly tall one (4 foot tall doors). The magnets aren’t so strong that it takes a fight to open the doors.For situations where doors may be a little bowed or otherwise no longer straight vertical surfaces OR if there’s a little gap between where you can screw the head in and where the moving part that holds the magnetic disk is, the head has a few millimeters of adjustable tolerance built in to the design. I used that where a shelf didn’t quite extend out far enough to contact the door surface but I needed the magnetic parts to span that 0.5cm gap.

I had hoped this would work for a barn door that my small 10lb dogs try to open with their snouts. It deterred them for a bit and then the figured out they just needed to push a bit harder. It’s a quality product, but didn’t work as I’d hoped for my barn door.

These do what they say but I would only recommend for a cabinet door, not a closet door. The magnets are dime sized and not strong enough to latch unless you hold it there, then they stick. Wish the magnets were quarter size so they could be a little stronger for latching power.

These were super easy to install!! My cat likes to break into the bathroom cabinet and this keeps the doors shut tight. Stays closed with only 1 magnet.

A high quality product. Packaged well. Pulls cabinet doors closed when the door is close to shutting. Stays in place.
