Straight out the box this guitar looked and played like a pro. Lightweight and stealthy looking. Fantastic metal guitar. Perfect tones, action nice and light. Really impressed. Ibanez have created an affordable alternative that won't empty your bank account and plays like a dream.

Great guitar without breaking the bank
I previously had the blue Ibanez from the GIO range. This review is for the cheaper GIO stealth series - black flat. I ordered it so I can keep the blue one always tuned to E & use the black one for other tunings. This black guitar was about £100 cheaper than the blue one, in spite of that it still seems to give the same sound quality & has the same high level of quality.Every edge is rounded off and smoothed nicely. It's a pleasure just to hold, the smoothness makes it almost frictionless as you slide your hand up and down the fretboard.I've had my blue one for 6months and have no complaints, for sound and build the black guitar feels the same quality (a more experienced guitar player may notice some difference). My blue one holds tune for at least a month, it's too early for me to rate how long the black one stays in tune. If it's less than a month I'll come back and edit (if this review is over a month old when you read it then the black guitar stayed in tune for at least a month).I've only had it about 6hrs, about the only downside to this guitar so far is that the flat black shows up even the slightest fingerprint. If you think that may bother you then another colour may suit you better.

One mean looking guitar which plays pretty well too
Brought this as a used product from Amazon, apart from some very minor cosmetic issues the guitar is surprisingly good for the money you pay! It’s an aggressive looking guitar and has some interesting pickup combinations with the 5 way switch.Matte black all around including the logo, so you don’t even know it’s a gio guitar!Neck feels good and setup can be done easily since it’s a fixed bridge.

Impressive
I always wanted an Ibanez when I was a kid but they were just so expensive. To see them now at this price is mind blowing and it sounds fantastic! I’m shocked and genuinely surprised! I love it.

Great for a beginner like me
Great Guitar for the price and looks AMAZING with the matt black finish. Added some pickup covers to make it look even more like a stealth metal shredding machine.
