I got this item for a centerpiece for my living room table because I love astrology stuff , it looks exactly like the picture even better in person , it holds books wells the weight of it is great not heavy at all , and great price for this !! This is the way I style it

Pretty cute, durable and have weight to it. I use it to stand big text-books pretty well, but tip and fall over whenever I grab a book. It’s good for decor

These are nice bookends although they are a bit lacking in weight and are more of a conversation piece than heavy duty bookends. I paid the $38 because of the described "upgraded electroplated mask" which makes all the difference when compared to others. Unfortunately, I received bookends with painted masks instead. I tried contacting the seller, but I was directed to contact Amazon customer service instead, who could only process a return. I do not appreciate it when item descriptions include false claims hence the 1-star rating. Hopefully this was a mistake (or I was sent an older version) and I will hear back from the seller soon. UPDATE 1/31/24: Seller reached out to me and shipped the bookends with the electroplated masks. They were very responsive and took care of the issue promptly. These bookends look great!!! The only issue is holding up taller/heavier books.... but for smaller books, 5-stars!!!

They have some good weight to them sturdy not too fragile like glass but i mean still can be broken just like anything your hard on it or throw it… i got compliments from my ex on these so id say good value for the cash size was perfect and fit inside my tv stand even though i didnt measure… lol
