Banana Boat Ultra Sport Sunscreen Lotion, SPF50

I’ve been buying this Banana Boat sunscreen with SPF50 for a while and I wish I found it years ago because it makes putting on sunscreen so easy. Been buying it for family members as well! The pump is amazing—I keep one in my bathroom and one in my bedroom so I never forget. It’s a really big bottle so it lasts a long time, and it spreads super easily with no white cast at all, even on my face. The scent is really light and neutral too, which I love. It just melts into your skin, doesn’t feel sticky, and works for everything—face, hands, arms, legs. It’s one of those products you actually end up using every day because it’s so easy and convenient. I keep repurchasing it for a reason! Highly recommend!

This sunscreen does not sting like the harsh brands. It does not have a strong chemical smell. It is very gentle and non-reactive for most skin types. Stays on very well, and 50 SPF is ideal, as sunscreen tends to get rubbed off or sweated off.

Hmmm I think the sunscreen is great for sun protection, but it’s pretty greasy. We have a beautiful yard and we spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer. I bought this for the pump bottle to have right by the door to use before I head out, but then my hands are greasy when I’m doing yardwork or sitting to have a cup of coffee enjoying the patio. I think I will put the sunscreen in a different bottle to use when I’m out on the kayak/hiking, etc. when I don’t care if my hands are greasy, then fill the pump bottle with another sunscreen I have. I guess I shouldn’t complain, it is a “sport” sunscreen. I love the pump bottle and the ease of using it, but I do find the sunscreen greasy.

This is a really nice daily sunscreen for the body. I love that it’s a pump, so I can easily get the right amount of product without gunking up the bottle. I also love that it’s not a terrible scent. If anything it still has it’s iconic scent that makes me nostalgic for my childhood summers. I love that this sunscreen is water and sweat resistant, and holds up great when I’m outside walking the dog, gardening, or just surviving outside where I live. It’s brutal. The sunscreen is easy to apply and only slightly greasy on the palms, but it dries down pretty fast. The 12 oz bottle is a great value, too.

Exactly what you would expect. Cap keeps popping off, but that is only a minor complaint. The product seems to work well.
