Ok, so this is a solid feeling item but it has a major flaw. I'm not sure if the manufacturer is simply trying to cut costs...The magnetic strip that allows this item to adhere to metallic objects is secured to the item by double sided sticky tape! And on mine, that came away from the item as I was trying to mount a whiteboard to the wall. As the item is heavy, I'm lucky that it didn't detach entirely...Two stars for build quality apart from the sticky tape.

Brilliant level, this is my third now I own in different sizes. As I spent more on them than cheaper levels, I look after them better which means they are nice and tidy when I go to use them each time, which makes DIY a bit more enjoyable.I've realised recently it is much better to buy decent branded tools and look after them, rather than cheap ones that get trashed, don't work as well as the better ones, and go all rusty in the end.

this level is a total disaster! the magnets are so weak so the level falls off the pipework even under it's own weight !

I enjoy using this tool. It is well built and is accurate. It's like a Dewalt of spirit levels in my tool box.

After getting fed up with my old cheap level decided to get this one from perhaps the most respected name in levels. It works and gives me confidence checking levelness
