Very useful, always great quality, love the tiny size!
I love these things, I use them for several purposes. Sometimes I create something on this then adhere it to a larger clayboard for dimension. Sometimes I use the clayboard pieces for a mosaic, sometimes I like to try a single technique on one of these little guys, then I post them on my wall in a reference area so I can look at individual techniques I practiced and want to keep as inspiration or reference. These tiles I write info on the back and just stick them to the wall with picture hanging "velcro" stuff so I can easily pull it down and take it over to my project for reference or to compare, see if that technique really looks good or if I was way off base. I like that I can sort of texture the board with gouges, scratches etc then gesso. Hanging that extra layer to play with is nice. I love ampersands boards. I've always found them to have good quality and fits the needs of my random techniques, I like playing with encaustics, cold wax, paper clay, all the paints etc. These boards stand up to abuse!

might be ok for jewelry or miniature paintings but overpriced
These are really small and I think they are much smaller than I thought and are very very overpriced at 10.00! In future I will probably purchase a larger sheet and cut to shape myself.
