Fruit of the Loommens Broadcloth Woven Sleep Pajama Pant

***Nice Lounge Pants***
Got these as all my older ones just fell apart especially along the knees & thighs. I'm 5'10'' 165lbs 34 waist 32 inseam the large fit nicely out of the box. It has deep pockets, the fly is of the one button type and yes it does have a fly not the fake sewn deals. It is lightweight but hey I live in the South so that is a no brainer. They are a tad on the baggy side but that is fine with me, I've had snug ones and they wear out quickly.I would recommend these without a doubt. Nice & comfortable.Have no idea what shrinkage will be as they have yet to be washed if anything drastic happens I'll post an update.

designed for a very tall person
Had to take off about 6 inches from the leg length, I am short, none of my previous pajamas were anywhere this long. Beyond that the material is comfortable and the rest of the fit is fine.

Drawstring Rather than Elastic Band
The material of the pajama is nice enough. The fit was as expected after reading the other reviews: order one size larger than usual. The problem is that these pants depend entirely on a drawstring to hold them up - no elastic. That means that they are forever sliding down and/or you find yourself having to re-cinch the drawstring. Another more expensive pajama pants from a different maker that I purchased at the same time are more comfortable.

Built like business slacks
Overall these pajama pants are pretty comfortable, they just don’t allow much freedom of movement. They are pretty tight in the middle of the thighs, so if you sleep in all manner of weird positions like I do, they end up feeling restrictive. I don’t expect to do the splits in them, but I can’t bring one knee up to my waist in these pants.

Great value! Best pajama bottoms we've found in a long time
Amazing that the sewing on this simple and value-minded pair of pajama pants is so professional. The lines on the plaid match! How astounding is that! I am impressed! The cotton is fairly light-weight and soft. It is not flannel. It is not lined. You can hold it up to the light and see through it. (Which is all fine with us.) It has a tie at the waist and a front button. The XL fit as expected. Right out of the bag, it was long enough for a tallish man, (6'4"). After washing in cool water and low heat dry, it did not shrink. Highly recommend.

Women may like these too. Lightweight, with pockets!
Found these on sale and bought a pair. Tried them on and immediately bought a pair in every other color I could find in my size (M).Very lightweight and breathable. Not see through. There is one button on the fly so they don't gap open. You may want to tack down the rest of the fly with a stitch or two, but I don't think it's necessary. The fabric is a 60/40 (or thereabouts) cotton poly. Not the most luxurious fabric, but soft enough for me. The deep pockets are much appreciated. You can fit a cell phone/pair of glasses easily. The waistband and all seams are very well sewn - double stitched and secure. I'm 5' 8" and normally wear a size 8-10 and the medium fit perfect. The inseam is 29 1/2-30" ( I found some slight variation in the ones I received) long enough for me without dragging on the floor. These are woven cotton/poly and do not stretch. If you are between sizes, definitely consider sizing up. Even though they are well stitched, too much strain on the thin fabric will eventually cause them to rip. My upper thighs are 24" and I notice a little strain on some of the inside thigh stitches. But since I'm starting to lose some of my covid lockdown weight (boy, did I get lazy!), I think I'll be ok. I dont know about other sizes, but if you have thick/ muscular thighs, consider sizing up. I've been hand washing these - easy to do, they're so thin - and hanging them to dry. They dry completely in a couple hours. There was some excess dye run-off the first couple washes but it doesn't affect the color. I'm very happy with this purchase and will be keeping my eye out for new patterns/colors. Nighty-night!

The Perfect Sleep Pants for Women Too!
I have been sleeping in pj bottoms like these long before they became popular on Friends. Simply because they are soooo comfortable. Always had to buy mens because they didn’t make them for women. Then they started making them for women but someone, somewhere underestimated the length sleep pants should be for women and they always shrink into nothing and you end up sleeping in “Urkel” pants leaving your ankles cold. 🥶Not anymore with these pants! The length is perfect, the cotton is thin, breathable and super soft. So it doesn’t have hearts, dancing llamas or hedgehogs on the pattern. 🤪 I’m okay with that. I loved them so much I bought 2 pairs and when I need more I’ll buy these again.

These fit very well!
Since I have a toddler I find myself kneeling and crouching on the floor to play with him a lot, and as a result my pajama pants get a lot of rips and holes around the knees. I found these pairs after doing some searches on Amazon and at around $9 per pair the price seemed reasonable. I’m not looking for fancy or brand names, just something that’s light so I don’t sweat at night and soft enough that it doesn’t irritate the skin. These are perfect! I’m 5’6” and 160 lbs, I went with the medium and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a size 33/34 waist for jeans/pants if that offers any reference. I highly recommend these.

The Gap
Okay people... I have to say, both pairs I received have one design flaw. The button to close "the gap" is not placed in the middle of "the gap", but closer to the top of "the gap".What does this mean? It means, your little fella is gonna pop out of "the gap" at any moment! Not a problem if you stay inside your own home...but when I take the puppy (the real puppy) out for a pee in the garden I've got to be mindful of "the gap", for fear of the little guy popping out to say hi to a neighbour...Or the pizza delivery guy...again, mind "the gap"...he definitely doesn't want that kind of tip...pun intended...

comfortable but the button on the fly is poorly placed
Comfortable cotton but the button on the fly is placed too high to be useful unless one is an exhibitionist.

Almost as good as my old one
I suffer from eczema on my legs and need to wear cotton sleep pants. I had an old pair of 100% cotton Fruit of the Loom sleep pants and have tried to find other brand replacements without much luck (other brands would shrink in the wash). These pants are nice and comfortable. Two things that that need improvement is that the crotch area opens up when sitting down (on the bright side it provides ventilation). Second is the pants could have a bit more room under the crotch area (my previous ones had a lot more room).

A little off on size
A little too tight in the seat (I don't like wedgies, nor constantly pulling them out) & very long in the leg. Perfect thigh room & waist sizing. Great fabric.Had my wife turn them into shorts (as actual shorts by FOTL cost more). As I can't find my preferred Joe Boxer, these will have to suffice...

Very thin, I should have ordered a flannel cotton one
These are fine for occasional use, but the cotton is so very thin they're almost see-through. I predict that if I wear them regularly, they'll develop holes pretty soon. The look is pretty nice, but not for cold climates.
