Very good but small, enough for women and low food intake

Bought 8 months ago. Quality is good or few months. Food only remain warm for 4 hours max. Rubber gasket of all caps are damaged . they just stretch and cannot fix back. without that air easily escapes and food becomes cold.

So, I was looking for a durable, pocket-friendly, and functional lunch box. I searched an entire week for it. There are not a lot of options and whatever options I found it was not good enough for me. Since I did not have a lot of other options on the price range I just went with it. It was literally a leap of faith. I will come to the point now. PROS: STURDY I mean it is really sturdy and durable. It won't simply topple even when empty. The build quality is awesome. Quantity I can't overstate this. I mean sometimes I feel if I had gone for three box one, it would have been economical. You will never be left hungry after a lunch. Given that you cook Indian lunches like rice, dal , sabji with achar, etc. Not tested for non-veg items. HEAT RETENTION You will feel as if it is fresh from the cooker. Specially if you are eating it after 4-5 hours of cooking, which I am. I never had the need to eat after more than 6 hours of packing but I am pretty sure it would be just as good. LIGHTWEIGHT I know people will be mixed about this but trust me for the price, build, and the quantity of food it is significantly lightweight. Now some people may opt for a box that looks good and elegant even if it keeps them half full. But looks was not my major concern, hunger was. Apart from all these major points the lunch box is well delivered and does not have any damage. The parts are well finished and do not look or feel cheap. The box also has a great spoon and additional pockets on the side which have come handy more than once. The boxes themselves are of good size and volume. You can even directly eat from them but I would still prefer a plate. The boxes are good quality and sturdy. The smell from previous day's menu does not retain itself if one is a little liberal with dish soap. However, I have not tested this with non-veg food. Finally, it is not without some cons. I would still say this box's pros heavily outweigh the cons. CONS OILY RESIDUE ON COVERS I have seen the other review saying this. This is a major issue with Indian cooking. With steel tiffins this issue is invisible but with silicone and plastics stuff oil really does not wanna come off. However, I just soak the lids for 5min or so in soapy water before actually washing them. LID CLOSING This is something that I get irritated about every single morning but after a month of usage I have come to terms with it, kind of. So the issue is that lid is not easy to close, probably because of poor design of grooves on the lid. It will slide beyond the locking point and if you rotate to close, it will not be a proper close. There is some amount of slip initially. You need to slowly find the right place to lock it and then rotate and seal the lid completely. I know, its frustasting. Closing a lid is the last thing anyone csres about in a lunch box. Borosil could have done a better job. I would suggest anyone looking to eat nice hot food while at office from a tiffin with minimal maintenance, to go for it. Price could be holding back some people but you won't regret it for sure.

BOROSIL, The name itself defines its quality and durability. Im using another 3 Compartment Borosil tifin from 4 years, And recently bough this one. Both are of High Quality and having Good Designs too. Indeed Classy. Also, just gifted 2 Compartment Borosil tifin to my nephew. Dont confuse with negative reviews as it depends on individual's way of use everything.

All good, using from past 1 year, (13-dec-2024 to till 15-dec-2025) Good: 1, build quality is superb, 2, hot at least for 6 hours till now, 3, leakage proof, 4, size is perfect for one male. 5, easy to keep, Bad: 1, boxes are very light but it's metal. 2, After few hot soup packing, rubber grip got elongation. 3, little costly but quality is good. 4, all rubber pasta came out till now. 5, side pocket cover are not useful. Suggestion, 1, must do R &D on rubber quality, so at least no deform til 70-80 degree Celsius. Anyway it's still going on but some times wet foods leaking out from box, as m using only dry stuffs.
