Q: i'd also like to know if you buy the set of 4, are they keyed alike?

These receiver locks are shipped keyed different inside the 4/shelf pack quantity. The key codes are shipped randomly and therefore it would be unlikely to find 2 locks with the same key code in a pack.

Q: I know security is relative ... but how easy would it be to put a simple crow bar between lock head and hitch and pop off?

Crow bar would be difficult, but after mine seized up I was able to remove easily with a piece of hollow metal pipe. I tore the rubber boot off and slid the end of the pipe (floor jack handle) over the lock cylinder. I bent back and forth about 3 times then it popped off. You could also use a grinder but I was afraid of damaging the receiver hitch.

Q: Will this lock work on a Thule Vertex 4-Bike rack with a 2" Class III hitch receiver?

Yes. Very easy to use and lock.

Q: Will this fit a 2015 Tacoma hitch?

Yes the 1469DAT 3.5in (Red) pin will fit the tacoma. the blue pin is too short.
