OEM Way to go. Especially at this price.
OEM. My Deere 425 lawn tractor has 1600 hours. Changing hydrostatic fluid and using OEM filter has kept my machine driving smooth. If you let fluid get too many hours , low speed movement will be jerky.

I would have rated this 5 stars, but considering the size it is a pricey little gem. That drove me to rate it 4 stars, but I searched all around and this was a very competitive price when compared with other suppliers. I could not find a cross-reference for NAPA or other manufacturer.

Doesn't fit a 1974 jd 400.
I own a jd 400 The ad states this filter fits the 400 series tractors but in fact it doesn't fit the jd 400. Jd 400 nipple is smaller than other 400 series tractor. I'm beyond the return date so buyer beware this isn't for the jd 400 early model. Idk about the newer model.
