Eleduino Raspberry Pi 3 5V 2.5A Power Supply/Adapter/Charger and Micro USB Cable with ON/Off Switch kit

I had been using 3.0amp rated power brick for a tablet with my Raspberri Pi 3. But it was having video playback problems. I didn’t realize the little lightning bolt in the upper right corner of the screen that was telling me that it was experiencing undervoltage.This solved it. No lightning bolts, and videos playback smoothly now.So I bought another for my other Pi.

Honestly I could leave a detailed review but the reason I bought this particular power supply was that it has an on and off switch. For some reason the Raspberry Pi is designed without an off switch, so after you "turn it off" in the operating system, the only way to actually turn off is to buy a power supply with an on and off switch. This one does that and it meets the exact specs specified by the designers of the Raspberry Pi power wise. So good from that direction as well.Overall it was a good purchase, works exactly as specified and I'm an happy customer

Best power supplies for the price if your are looking to purchase them for a Raspberry Pi 3. The switch makes it easy to power up and down without having to unplug from the device. I use one to charge my Samsung cell phone as it charges faster than the Samsung charger.

I tried getting by with a cell phone charger, and I had a variety of issues, including low power warnings, crashing, and, of course, the inability to turn off the device without unplugging it. The switch on this is excellent and, in my opinion, essential.

It's does exactly as advertised, it supplies power. Using on an always-on seed box using RPI3 with no issues in over a month of owning.I do wish the transformer was more discrete.

BEWARE this has 22awg wire and the PI will not be happy. Look for 18awg wire if you don't want to have power problems.

Works great! The switch is nice so now I don't have to unplug it every-time! No power drops using Raspberry official screen.

This combination of power supply and switched cable is essential for pi owners. Prevent damage to your pi by using the right power supply and a cable the elimiates the need to unplug your pi every time you shut it down.

I was using my Pi 2 to play SNES games on the Retropie OS, and quite frequently I was getting the "lightning bolt" icon in the top right corner, which signifies a lack of voltage, or in my case current (I believe it is the same symbol). This was happening with a 2.0A/5V adapter that was sold with my Pi.This thing shipped very quickly, which was perfect because my friend was arriving that weekend to play the SNES games with me. After swapping the cables the change was dramatic, I could even overclock.I also LOVE the on/off switch. It's a huge bonus and allows me to properly set my Pi up in the living room, just like any other gaming console.

Even though I boight the kit that comes with the pi, I was put off having to keep unplugging the power cord. That and it didn't output at full amperage.Decided to buy this solely for the switch.Love the convenience of just have to switch on on off.One thing that kinda surprised me, is that most switches press in for on, and unpress for off. This switch is the opposite. So I had the button in the unpressed position, and plugged it into the pi, and it turned on instantly.Would recommended.

The on/off switch is the real selling feature. Works as expected with Pi3.I tried with Pi3, official 7" touchscreen, camera but I think that draws more than 2.5Amps because I would get the lightning symbol on the screenIs there a version that does more than 2.5A?

Why does the Raspberry Pi say the voltage is too low? It is stuck in a reboot cycle. It works with the original power supply
