Unfinished Wood Doll Bodies - 3 9/16" (Pkg of 10)

It was a wait to receive these, but wow do I love them! I want to make simple dolls, another way of being creative in spite of my disabilities. I got a great book on making dolls from pegs like these, and I'm getting ready to try it.When I opened the package and pulled out one of the wooden doll bodies, I was very pleased at the robust--not spindly at all--shape. No rough edges, and all the pieces look excellent.I have an assistance dog--great dog, but all dog! It would break my heart for him to be harmed by swallowing a wooden doll body. These are a good size to avoid that problem.Also, my vision is not good, nor is my hand dexterity (lots of damage from 35 years of rheumatoid arthritis. Plus respiratory allergies, very severe, make it impossible for me to be around wet paint! These doll bodies are so versatile in how you can use them, and they are totally "cool beans"!I just ordered my third batch of these. I am limited in space, but these in their bag don't take up much space at all. I want plenty, so that I can use them any way I like.

I purchased these for my preschool. I wanted to foster imaginative play. I haven't been disappointed. The figures fit well in the children's hands and the plain body allows the children to pretend they are whatever fits into their play.
