This completely solved one of my daily annoyances: Curtain rings catching on the rod and making a horrible scraping racket every time I opened or closed them. With these, the curtains glide smoothly and quietly with almost no effort. It was easy to install and made an immediate difference. It honestly feels like such a small upgrade, but the improvement in function (and noise reduction) is huge. This is absolutely going on every curtain rod in my house going forward. If you’re tired of fighting with stuck, noisy curtain rings, these are 100% worth it.

After curtain rod tape was installed 8 years ago by our vendor for our new curtain rod (10 feet long), it lasted 7 years before it shredded and failed. After talking with the vendor they said they could come to our house to clean off the old glue and add more tape for $700, or sell us a better designed rod for $2,000 installed. After keeping the curtains opened for the last year (!) and delaying a decision I decided to buy this product and clean off the old residue myself with Goo Gone and a portable hand sander. Following the clear instructions I installed this tape and it works even better than the original! Curtain slides like a dream. Seems like a high quality product at a fair price.

Make sure to measure the width of your rod. Mine was too thin, the tape doesn’t bend and I had edges of the tape sticking straight out on both sides. Otherwise seems like a useful product. I’ll use it for something else.

The amount of frustration this product is going to save me is incredible. Opening and closing my curtains was legitimately infuriating until now. And now they just glide across! So easily! And so quietly! After finishing my first curtain rod this morning I’ve already ordered another 48’ of this stuff to apply to every other curtain rod in my house. The tape was simple to install and the instructions on the package were clear and helpful. I got it applied to an 11’ long curtain rod in under ten minutes. It’s thick enough to provide plenty of buffer between the curtain ring and the rod, and the adhesive is strong. It feels sturdy enough to withstand plenty of use. The fit is just right for my 1” diameter curtain rod. It doesn’t look ugly or obvious on my ceiling-height curtain rods. If you didn’t know it was there, you’d never notice it. I wish I had known about this product so much sooner!

What a miracle product. I have been struggling for almost a year with curtain hooks that kept getting snagged on the joint where the rods meet. I am blown away by how simple this was to install, as well as how well it works. My curtains now glide with ease! 5 stars!

Gamechanger! I bought this for a friend who has heavy velvet curtains on rings that clip - hanging on a pipe used for a rod. He had an automatic curtain closer that had a hard time pulling the curtains shut. We put this on top of the pipe and could not believe how the curtains just slid open and shut smoothly and easily. The automatic curtain closer just zoomed those curtains open and shut!

Did I overpay since this is essentially sticky plastic? Yes. Is it also the best nonessential item I’ve ever bought? Absolutely. My partner and I love this thing. My curtains glide like butter. It’s insanely satisfying. I want to buy one for every curtain in the house.

This stuff is great, we have a bar in our shower and there’s a lip that the rings kept getting caught on. I thought either try this or get a new bar. This works amazing, it’s held strong even in the humidity of the bathroom.

I have an adjustable curtain rod and my heavy insulated drapes would be difficult to open and shut. They kept getting stuck on the adjustable part of the rod. Once I attached the strip they glide very easily.
