This is a great replacement part. It’s very easy to install, and my camera feels much more secure on the tripod with an Arca Swiss compatible plate instead of the Manfrotto quick release plate.One downside: the spirit level is on the side opposite the tightening screw. This means you need to put the tightening screw under the lens in order to check whether your camera is level, which makes mounting and removing the camera harder. If you do want to continue using the Manfrotto 200PL plate, the level will be under the lens, rendering it pretty useless.Otherwise, no complaints!

I rarely write reviews on amazon but I was looking for an adaptor and was hestitant to buy this at first because of the unknown nature and few review. I'm SO glad I did. This adaptor does the job and it's been a breeze for shooting. It's really well built and I never get worried about it being secure. If you are looking for a reliable solution, this is the product for you! 10/10

Fits great on my Manfrotto 498 RC2 head! Got rid of the quick release and put this Arca plate instead and really like it., I had previously bought the Artcine head but after checking it out it was junk so I took it back and decided to convert my Manfrotto 498RC2 since I've always loved it and always performed great just that I wanted that Arca plate on it for the convenience of adapting to my Smallrig cage and other things!

Works great with my Manfrotto ball head. Comes with adapter and extra long mounting screw. The knob for the clamp is large so able to tighten securely.

This product does exactly as it claims, well machined.
