I looked at so many Clean/Dirty dishwasher magnets and bought this one twice (our dishwasher got replaced and I’d used the adhesive tabs but they don’t come off). I like the simplicity of the design and I wanted Clean to be on the right side. The slider works well and the magnet seems pretty strong, it doesn’t slide down, lol. It’s the perfect size too, and very easy to read. I definitely recommend this one!

This little sign works very well. It has great adhesion to my dishwasher and is very easy to use. Even though my dishwasher does have a 'clean' LED to remind me, the sign is nice because, eventually, with enough openings and closings of the door the LED turns off. Plus with my 'old people eyes', the sign is viewable from across the room. The plastic material seems very sturdy. The 'dirty' and 'clean' letters seem rugged enough. If I were to guess, I would say that the words were like a screen print (not raised or etched) but you would literally have to scratch them with a sharp object to damage or remove them. Very well made. The slider is effortless and simple. I would buy this again.

I've owned one of these Clean/Dirty signs in the past, so I just HAD to get another one for my new home. The sign is magnetic, and is the perfect size (not too in-your-face-big, but large enough that you can easily read it.) To change from clean to dirty and vice versa, it's an easy flick of the finger. This is really helpful to have when you have multiple people living in your home. So many times I've accidentally placed dirty dishes in a clean dishwasher, so this sign eliminates that mistake. For the price, this is a great product. So many of our guests comment on it, so I plan on purchasing some during the holiday season as gifts!

As many others have written, this product does exactly what you want it to do. It is easy to read and it sticks to the dishwasher like I want. The magnets worked for me, so I didn't even need the adhesives. The only negative is so small that I didn't want to take a star away, but it is worth mentioning. Several times I've had someone in our house reaching for something in a cabinet around the dishwasher and they rub against it (and the sign), moving the sign from one side to another. They don't realize that it happened and then we don't know if the dishes are actually clean or dirty (I usually rinse them off before putting them in, so it is not always easy to see). So, I would love it if the slider had more resistance, or a way to lock it into place, but that is pretty minor overall. In the end, it is a quality product that we are glad we bought.

When I first saw these sorts of indicators I rolled my eyes because how hard can it be to look in the dishwasher and see what the dish status is? And then I got married. And had a baby. Who is now a toddler. Let me tell you something, the number of times my husband and I have had to ask each other if the dishes in the washer were clean or not is probably normal. The number of times I haven't been able to remember after loading them myself is probably reason to call my doctor. All kidding aside, it really does help keep everyone straight about where we are in the dish cycle. Provided you remember to move the tab each time. I'll probably forget to do that, but that's on me. It is super cute and honestly the most helpful thing isn't the wording but the colors. I can look at it from across the room and see it without reading. It's a little thing but I was surprised at how useful that feature has been. As far as the product itself, it seems to be made of pretty cheap plastic. My two year old grabbed it on day one and it came apart. Luckily it all just snapped back together with no broken pieces but that was a little concerning. Since then he has left it alone, but if your littles can't keep their hands off of it, it might not hold up as well. The magnet seems strong. He only pulled the plastic window off of the front but couldn't pry the magnet up. It's not so strong to where it's a permanent fixture. I can scoot it around the dishwasher and relocate it easily, but I do think I'd have to actually work a little to completely remove it. Overall I'm happy with it. It's just one of those little things that makes life go a bit smoother, and in that case I'm all for it. Now if someone can just get my brain to remember to switch it with each load, that'd be great!

Honestly, my wife and I would always have to tell each other when we were starting the dishwasher or if we ran it that day. There were times that her or I would accidentally throw in a rogue dirty fork or bowl without knowing that the load was clean. Now it’s not something that is absolutely necessary but I feel a huge difference with the sign. First off, it is magnetic. I was able to put it on my dishwasher with no problem. The magnet is strong, doesn’t move unless you want to really move it. They also give you stickies in case the magnet doesn’t work with your dishwasher. So that’s super helpful. Also, now everything is so seamless with the dishwasher. We use it often, it is very easy and requires less thought to put away dishes and such. It’s just, I think too much about too many things, it’s nice to have this sign to get one less thing off my mind when putting my dirty dishes. I also love the blue/gray color because it’s very obvious which is which. I like the sliding motion, it is satisfying to slide it, I’m not a fan of the dishwasher magnets that you turn. This has been a great purchase!

Good quality metal,,,works well you just slide plate back and forth ....was never sure if dishes were clean ,unless a close look and smell....this just takes the guesswork out of the equation....we all love it here ,yes there is cheaper ones ,,but this goes good with the chrome ....

So handy and the magnet is superior.

Useful item - no surprises of finding the dishwasher not being emptied any more. Once it is emptied it is switched to dirty allowing people to put their dishes in. Had to use the stickers to put it on the dishwasher as our dishwasher has a not metallic front.
