Breathable Nylon Cloth Safety Muzzle (XS)

I have a 30 lb pitt-lab-something-else mix and got size Small. This muzzle was great. It was slightly large around his nose, but I wanted to make sure he was comfortable and could at least pant a little to let me know when he was hot, so that was fine. He probably could still nip somebody/some dog, but he definitely would not be able to do any damage. He does calm down when he has it on generally because he knows he can't be a jerk, so he acts more submissively with other dogs/men; this is great.Also, my pup is black so I like this one because it blends in with him slightly and doesn't look as intimidating as other ones.The last comment I have is that he was able to scrape the top of his nose again the ground to try to get it off, and that caused the muzzle to rip. Honestly, I wouldn't want them to change the material or anything because it's a pretty durable material as it is while still being comfortable for the dog, but it's just something to think about when you're buying the product. I liked this enough that I'm buying another one now to replace the ripped one.

We needed something for when he's at the groomer getting his nails done, because he recently decided to get bitey (senior dogs, sigh) and in afraid they'll fire us as clients if we don't come with a muzzle next time. We had tried a different one that had a plasticky type cage over the mouth, but quickly realized he paws at it and was getting his nails stuck. So we knew we needed something smooth he can't do that with. This was exactly what we were looking for, and you can't beat the price point. It fits his snout perfectly, not too tight and not loose. The plastic part that you use to adjust the length is very loose, so we had to put several heavy duty staples to hold it at the sizing we wanted, but once we did that we're golden. Now I don't have to worry he's going to bite. His fit is 20lb small mixed breed (schnauzer/terrier).

When I opened this product, I was very disappointed. I thought I was purchasing a soft muzzle for my small dog, but this product is nothing more than a small and thin piece of fabric with a thin strap attached. It looks nothing like the picture, and there is no way even a small dog could wear that securely being as flimsy as it is. I would return it, but it’s not worth the effort.

Works great for him! Easy to clean and not too tight. Using it for longer walks and training with other dogs to help with his aggression. He can pull it down sometimes though even though it fits snug. But over all is great!

The end of the material that goes through the adjustable clip piece was all frayed-lighter fixed that issue real quick. But I also think the strap material should be longer because I’m all the way at the end. I’m gonna have to improvise and stitch the clip in at the very end so it doesn’t slide off when in use. I have a diabetic Pom so this has made giving daily injections easier for the both of us. The muzzle is the perfect size for her noise I just really wish the strap was long and better quality than what I received. If you plan to use for a longer period of time like walks or training then this would be a major fail. Since I’m just using it for a few seconds it’ll do.

I had to get a muzzle for my Yorkie after she fractured her jaw from a dog attack. 8 weeks of 24/7 muzzle use as the vet said she could not repair it surgically. I already ordered another brand but decided to also order this brand. This one works great as it slides on really nice and the clip is secure enough that she cannot get it off. It is important to measure your dog nose circumference to get the right fit..I do like that they have the guidelines and chart to make sure you order the right size.

The media could not be loaded. The device is fairly useless if you have an uncooperative dog. I imagine whoever needs this device is because they also have an uncooperative dog. The device is non-elastic and only works if you physically hold your dogs, snout shut and then force the snout in muzzle and then strap the muzzle to the back of the dogs head. It is non-elastic, meaning it does not expand to put on, and then contract once attached.This particular model only works if you have a cooperative dog, who is docile when trying to put it on, which renders the device useless if it’s a greater chore to attach it than it is to not use it at all.

Only use it when going to the vets but does the job its supposed to

I use this only when I am trimming the nails of my Yorkie because she becomes very calm and just lays down in her bed no squirming. I can get 3 of her paws done in one sitting give her a break and a few treats to get the last one done and it’s a painless process.
