If you want to get into painting this product is perfect. it has a shinier finish that I enjoy. only downside would be how small the amount of paint is. if you are planning on painting a large canvas you will need to purchase multiple boxes.

Paint is naturally a messy medium, but what’s worse is the fact that these tiny pressurized tubes will bleed out of the caps and containers if you’re not paying attention to them. After puncturing, it’s natural for the paint to come out quickly and heavily, but it was literally bleeding out of the top once closed (bleeding from top of the top, not bottom or sides).They’re okay to use and somewhat opaque otherwise.I paid $7, so I don’t really care for the mess or waste of paint, i’m just writing this to keep everyone else alerted and to pay attention to the container after opening.unless there’s a way to prevent this that I don’t know about!

Full disclosure: I am an absolute beginner when it comes to acrylics.These paints felt really easy to use. They went on the paper smoothly and dried fast. They also cleaned up really easily. My paint brush rinsed off very well after each use. The gray and black are both so, so good! The only problems I had were with the colors Viridian and Violet. Maybe my paint brush was too wet, but the colors were pretty thin initially on the page. I had to go back over with a think coat to make it more solid.The only bad thing about this set (and it's not really bad) is the "Emerald Green". It's really more of a Mint Green. So, I'll just say that's a poor bit of labeling, and not really a problem with the paints themselves. Great product!

These paints are the best I could find without spending a ton. These are WAY better than the Apple Barrel brand (which are basically runny poster paints for crafting). Serious artists will appreciate KingArt's hue consistency and paint quality. A really lovely set of acrylics at a great price.

Horrible smell. Had to throw out. Money wasted.
