The ONLY Glucosamine Product You'll Ever Need For Your Furbaby
My 10-year-old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix has always been a jumper and a "happy dancer" but quite a few months ago she seemed to be having a difficult time. She would limp a little and didn't want to jump onto the bed anymore. But when we would take her outside for her walks, she wouldn't limp at all and acted completely normal. We were stumped, but worried enough to take her to the vet. The vet said she seemed fine. She did have a little hip dysplasia going on, on one side, so he prescribed her some Glucosamine chew tablets and a small bottle of Rimadyl for moments of great discomfort. I didn't like the idea of putting my baby on Rimadyl, because it would make her lethargic and have her sleep more than usual; that's not the quality of life I would have for her.Thankfully, the Glucosamine chews did the trick and I didn't have to use the Rimadyl at all! BUT my furbaby HATED the taste of them and would spit them out of her mouth. It took some coaxing and gentle scolding to get her to, grudgingly, eat them. I went online at Amazon to look for an alternative and found SYNOVIAL. I saw that it was extra-strength, and had more in the way of help for my baby than what was given to me by the veterinarian. It also, I read, was chicken-flavoured so I hoped she would like it better. Plus, getting SYNOVIAL via online shopping was far more convenient than going to the vet every month to get a refill bag of lesser-quality Glucosamine.I started my furbaby off with two SYNOVIAL tablets (which she LOVED -- she gobbled them down like they were Pez candy!) and the effects were immediate! She was back to doing happy dances, jumping onto the bed and into the car with no problems -- and in just a day. I could see how much happier she was. I now buy SYNOVIAL from Oreala, Inc. every month or so, depending on how many bottles I am able to afford at once, which brings me to another happy revelation... The price per bottle is incredibly fair-priced, and you get 160 tablets in each; you won't find a better deal than that, without sacrificing quality and product potency.Heidi Lee sends me regular messages, checking on my pup to see how she's doing, which I greatly appreciate. It's the best sign that she genuinely cares about animals and understands that our furbabies aren't "just" animals, but family.

SEE MY DOSAGE MIDWAY THROUGH THE REVIEW. I purchased this for a much smaller dog with some hopes that it would provide some relief. The background is that we have a 17.5 year old Puggle (Pug/Beagle). He's lived far longer than we imagined would be. He is stiff in the shoulders and slow in the hind legs but happy to still be with us. I am not taking heroic measures to keep him going but I want him to be reasonably healthy and comfortable in his final days. I had a hard time watching him struggle while waiting for this to kick in and had to fight the urge to go to the vet for pain killers as I feel these would be hard on his organs over a long period of time. At WEEK 4 it seemed that there was a very noticeable change. In spite of constant storming this Summer, which I figure would cause a lot of joint discomfort as it does in humans, he seems to be moving with more ease, fluidity and limping less. He likes the flavor and they are very easy to chew. We do not need to hide it in food. He was getting one full pill in the morning with his meal and one full pill at bedtime then I dropped it to one pill at night. This is what I figure is twice what the maintenance dose is for his weight because it is recommended that twice the dose be given for the first 6 weeks. Although the dose is for a much, much larger dog, I figure he is very old, I would not be shortening his life by much if he had high doses. I checked on when vitamin C would be toxic and he is getting well below what would be toxic levels even at double dose. UPDATE He has been on it since the summertime (it is now October at this editing). While not pain free without an Rx, I CAN say the Synovial appears to have taken 70% of the pain away and the Rx Deramaxx takes care of about 20% more. Having him pain free would be miraculous though at his advanced age I cannot expect this. He had been taking Synflex for a while because the results WERE miraculous for another dog we had but the Puggle is increasingly sensitive to change in his diet and the Synflex was hard on his gut. I am glad I found this product. My spouse wants to know if there is a human formula?! Something to consider if you think it's pricey is that once you have reached the maintenance dose, this product will cost you about 34 cents per day and you will only need to order about 3 bottles per year! I have to pay about $35 per month for 15 pills (1/2 pill per day) of Deramaxx from the vet!
