Works Right Out the Box
This camera was super easy to set up and it intergrated into my existing system without any tinkering. I just swapped out the existing Zosi and popped this one in and it showed right up. The angle is wide and the color looks great. Also, the night vision looks fantastic. I am super pleased with the camera and I will be getting another one to cover the entire backyard.

Good quality good camera
It’s good I’ve had many different cameras. This is a good camera has a wide angle view and clear picture and the entire thing is a metal housing even the mounting base and swivel arm. It’s all metal so it’s good for the money you can’t beat it.

Great camara for the price. Don't like the cable design
Overall, it's a great camara for the price. It's plug and play with my Lorex DVR. It transmits in 1080P just as it should. I also like the Fisheye viewing. The camara is very small, about a quarter the size of my hand (see pic). Super easy to install (except for fishing the cable). My only problem with it is the cord design. It's very difficult to fish through walls. I wish the cords were different lengths. That way, you can seamlessly use electrical tape and make one one solid bundle of cords wrapped in tape. Instead, you have to offset the ends of the cable (the fat parts) when taping it up, creating loops of wire that now have to be folded and taped (see pic).Additionally, the design adds another cable for the switches that control the transmit mode. Other models have these switches built into the cable, rather than create an additional "head" that has to be fished through a drilled hole. Essentially, a 2 headed snake (video, power) is now a 3 headed snake (video, power, switches). All of this means; a much larger whole is required to be drilled than what you should have to drill, taping the bundle is kind of a mess, and fishing is more difficult than it should be. Not to mention that these challenges create more opportunity to damage the cables during installation.Bottom line, the camaras are a great value and they work great as intended. However, cable management could be improved.

Exceeds Expectations!!
Cameras work better than expected, and the price is great for the quality!Have purchased several of these and they've all worked great! Plan to purchase more in the near future.

Not worth the money
I've had a security system at my home now for over 5-years which I replaced a few cameras in the past. I purchased this camera and it's nice during the day but at night the camera is all fogged up, all IR are lit but still barely see any view of the protected area. I tried cleaning the lens 3-times with Windex as well with a fog defender which I use with all my camera's but unfortunately still fogged with an inner circle appearing on the screen.

So far so good
I replaced two old 2K Qsee cameras with these for use with a new Lorex 4K analog system. Once I got them configured properly for CVI, both are working well and have good color and IR performance. If the camera is not set properly with the DIP switches you'll see color striping or a noisy signal. We'll see how long they last. I will update the review if there are any issues. These are working fine with the original Qsee cables. I have found that most problems I have had with the new Lorex has been the old cables, and I've had to replace some of them. Sometimes it's hard to tell if an issue is due to a bad power supply, bad cable, noisy cable, or the camera itself. So far any issues have not been due to the cameras themselves, either these or the ones that came with the Lorex unit.

New version isn’t as good
I used to love buying these cameras. They had a great picture. They have a wide viewing angle. They’re small so they don’t take up much space which makes them less obvious. Easy to store they were easy to put up in position. They stay in their spot, no matter what. The older version of this had a ghost image issue if you tried to split the signal. I got over that because the rest of it was great. I just use a different camera if I’m gonna split the signal.I recently made an order for six of these thinking they were the same cameras I’ve been ordering. I ordered junction boxes that specifically fit these and wall mounts for outside.I was unfortunately surprised with new versions of these cameras that are not as good. The viewing angle is fine, however the picture quality is a huge downgrade from its predecessor. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what they did. I installed the new version at a location that I have several of the old versions up. This is a huge step down. Actually really upset that I walked away from this project putting that camera up unfortunately, it’s already there and all the hardware is already there. I don’t have another choice.

Night vision is poor, But
The camera is solid (built a tank), However, the daytime picture is ok but the night vision is poor. There is a smokey, foggy, haze to the image. I installed it in the daytime so I thought it was ok, until tonight. After spending $42 on this camera needless to say I'm disappointed. I would return it but at 74 I don't want to drag out the extention ladder and climb up 20 feet again.NEW INFO: I just added a supplemental IR light source to the area. Now the night vision is much improved. Seems like the builtin IR LEDs are not enough to make the camera work correctly over such a wide angle. So to make this camera function well at night you might need to spend another $40 + the time and effort to install enough IR light. It would be easyer to just make a better camera.
