Very relaxing once it warms up
I got this for Christmas to work out the knots I always get. I like using this and it does help with the knots. Flipping up the neck padding helps with deeper neck massage. I do wish it had more padding on the back. Some spots can be a little uncomfortable until the unit warms up and the material becomes a bit softer. A little more padding in the middle would help alleviate that especially for women when it hits the scapula; this was made for a man’s physique. I just lean forward a bit in spots but once it warms up it is more comfortable. Placing it in a firmer chair versus a couch seems to help raise it up a bit.

It’s beneficial if you don’t have a spouse
I’ve had this product for a few days now. The product itself seems well belt and has nice design characteristics, but I don’t think any on the market are very aesthetically pleasing. I originally bought this to go in my office but my family has just been using it on the couch. It works there fine but I would say that it would be better suited for a chair as it tends to lean over on the couch (easily straitened up) but just looks like an eye sore either way. Which leads me to the question of its worth? Does it message yes, I would say even better than I was expecting. The nodes really move clear up and down the back, the neck also moves up and down as they rotate. The vibration on the seat is pretty strong but it still is just not effective for much of anything. Sound of the message is nonexistent, but the seat vibration is notable (haven’t used it in an office setting but that’s we’re I would have my reservations). The pressure seems to be quite intense and I like a strong message. I’m a 6ft athletic male 185lb and it gets into the muscles. My problems with it are things that I feel most won’t consider until it’s already in hand. The first thing to consider is that this device is not comfortable to sit on while not being massaged. It’s not uncomfortable while the machine is working but the nodes don’t go away while the machine is off, they just go back to there starting position and jab you in the back and neck. That said, it’s all assembled in one piece so you could fairly easily just fold the seat up and throw it behind the couch. In an office chair probably won’t be any harder, I just wonder how often I will use it. Next issue is that despite the nice intensity and extensive movement of the nodes, it doesn’t get my entire back. I don’t believe that there is a better one on the market necessarily, I believe it’s just a limitation of all the units. I knew this machine wasn’t going to be a miracle worker and would have its set backs but it definitely does not compare to a professional massage or even that of a decent spouse. If you don’t have access to either of those or just want a supplemental then I would say that this unit would probably be a good investment.

It works...most of the time.
My reason for getting this massager: I have a tendency toward tight back muscles and was looking for an affordable option for use at home. I purchased this massager in 2021 and used it quite a lot the first year.Pros:There's a heat option that feels great on tight muscles.I can set it to hit the lower, upper, specific spot, or full back. I use the upper portion most of the time. There's a 15-minute or 20-minute option.Though I do not use it, there is a seat vibration option - that could be a pro or a con depending on the person, it is a neutral for me.The remote is user-friendly as it's easy to see and set to the settings you desire.Cons:I did not use it much at the beginning of 2022, but I wanted to use it during the summer; I found that the massager had degraded in accuracy. It still works but hesitates between transitions in the lower back section; however, the pressure is still good and the heat function works well. Also, I am almost 6 feet tall so the massaging part does not hit me right and I have to adjust my body for the massager to work out the kinks around my shoulder blades and lower back.If I could do it again, I would've saved up for a more reliable massager and done better research on the sizing. If you are looking for a short-term solution, this will work for you, or if the rough transition in the lower back section would not bother you. Also, if your torso is average height, then this massager will most likely hit all the right spots for you.

Works well, could use more padding on massagers
Heat isnt remarkable, its there but not significant either way. The vibration is only on the bottom and while my friend who used it too liked it, I prefer not to use it. The massager for the back is great for working DEEP tissue, but man, it leaves your back sore, it goes too deep. I wish there was an option of the ball/massager things to work like half the amount, or stick out half the amount they do so you could also get a regular or even light massage instead of every massage being a DEEP massage.

Good Product But Not Really Comfortable
After looking at many chair massagers, I chose the RENPHO. It is easy to set up, has many settings, and does an excellent job. My one complaint is the seat could be more comfortable. There is a small device in the middle to warm the seat that protrudes and makes the seat uncomfortable. I need to fold a small blanket over the seat cushion to pad the device. This is a good product for the price, but it is not the most comfortable.

back part is goooood
Back Massager with Heat, RENPHO Chair Massage Pad, Shiatsu and Rolling Back and Neck Massager for Chair, Massage Cushion with Heat, Height Adjustable Massage Seat, for Shoulders, Full Body—Back section is very good, strong massage. Neck area doesn’t have a lot of flexibility in height or strength but works well enough. Much of the comfort depends on which chair you choose to place this massage pad in, however. Like the ability to adjust intensity, massage spot, and timer. Only negatives: 1) the little vibration components in the seat cushion itself are very hard and, after a few uses, became painful to sit on. To remedy, place a thin cushion over the seat piece. 2) vibration is quite noisy. Overall, 4 stars and highly recommended! Easy to put away and store. Definitely finding this helpful for relief of sore muscles and to promote relaxation when used regularly. Recommend this product!

Dreckig. Schlecht verpackt. Retourware....

The media could not be loaded. !

Good quality, works well, priced well
The media could not be loaded. THE GOOD:— Some other reviews have compared this product with a full massage chair that costs thousands of dollars, which isn’t really fair to this product. So I have taken the time here to give it a fair review.— Before my first Renpho purchase, I wasn’t sure how good of a brand this was. I had purchased a weight scale and it didn’t disappoint, nor did this Back & Neck Massager.— Priced the best in its category compared to the number of features it has.— Surprisingly very fast delivery. It arrived in a few days.— Presentable packaging in case you want to put away in a corner after each use. I have attached the pictures.— It seems to be made of really good leather-like material (description says polyurethane leather). Stitching is done properly and at the moment no stitching is breaking out.— Great design and looks really nice. Looks great with my current setup shown in the pictures attached.— Love how the Neck Massage head height is adjustable so it can massage my head, neck’s different areas and upper back if I add a small cushion, which makes it great for all the short people also. It comes with a flap shown in my picture where it looks better when it's on. I suggest using it without it when in use.— All the massage heads have really high intensity and powered nodes so they spin clockwise and anti-clockwise with strong motion.— Remote has plenty of options and features to play with. Still discovering at the moment but there is a way you can turn it off at the exact location for each node which makes it somewhat comfortable to sit on after its use.— Different options for the back massage move head up and down in the direction of your choice. This is probably the best feature it has and it works really well. I have been using it for an hour as I write this.— Seat vibration has 3 intensity levels. Really great for me as I sit for countless hours on a computer. I could use all the help in blood circulation.— The heat option for the back area works really good.THE NOT SO GOOD OR BAD:— Not a bad thing but it’s a little bulkier than my expectations, but it makes sense because of all the machinery that goes into it.— I didn’t see any other similar massagers having a store-away case but I think it would be a nice thing to add to this.— Not complaining but I wish the Neck massage head would go even lower so that it can also cover the upper part of my back. Nothing that I can’t fix with adding a tiny cushion to cover that area. Placing the entire back flap at a higher height would help also.— There is a heat option as well but I think it is kept mild for a reason. A reason that I’m not fully aware of due to my lack of education in the medical/massage space. I would have probably liked an option where you can control the intensity of it. (Edit: Mild for the neck area but pretty good for the back area)— Seat Vibration only has a vibration feature and not a massage head. It would raise the price like a full massage chair if it had that option too.THE UGLY:— Nothing at the moment but will update the review in case something comes up.ULTIMATELY:— I would buy it again if I had to. The price is great and better than the competition. The product itself offers more in its category for the price range. All in all, it’s a good product.

Pretty good.
These seats are never perfect, and let's face it - if we had £3,000+ going spare, you would be more likely to be wanting a proper full massage chair. As it is, this model us quite good. It wont get MUCH better than this for the price. The main reason for me buying this model is that the neck massage function slides up and down, so it doesn't matter what your height is, it can moderated to the user size. Quite effective from the neck, or to tilting the sides of your head to move the balls higher up. It goes quite lower down to reach the top of the shoulders. Which is just the best! The back function is pretty standard, like on most of these models. Delves in quite deep to your back muscles, but it doesn't go far down to the very bottom of the spart of your lower back spine. But that is pretty much the problem with most of these seat massagers. There isn't a choice of intensity which would have been good. But it does reach quite deep into your back. The bottom seat, does nothing, except vibrate, if you select the option. It isn't a perfect seat by any means, but probably better than most. The main reason I would say, is that the neck massage can be moved up and down. And most, if any of the other models I looked at, dont have that function. And the mobility of that function is essential. All in all, pretty good. But perfect, but a pretty good option. Again though, like with all these things, the pain relief only really occurs when you are using the chair. It isn't a permanent solution. And personally, I would have a hand done Sports massage a few times a week. But who can afford that?! This is a fairly good model. I cant imagine finding one MUCH better. Be advised, I would look at one that has a adjustable neck massage option. For height reasons alone.

Nice massager, loved it!
The media could not be loaded. The manual says you should use it for 15 min. everyday. I got it last night and have already used it 3 times today! Perfect if you're working from home and have back pain from bad posture, or just to relax after a hard day.It simulates a deep tissue massage, which I love, and the heat also helps to relax tired muscles. What I liked more is that you can adjust the height of the neck massage, so it is good to properly fit people from different heights, and also to choose to have the massage more on the neck or stronger on the shoulders. You can also choose the back massage type (lower or upper back, or to a fixed point)I tried it both in my office chair and on the sofa. In the chair, it gives more support, but on the sofa I could relax better, so as long as the sofa has good support, it can be used on it too.So far, the only problem I had is when it stops after 15 minutes... haha! If I could, I would stay the whole day seated on that!A suggestion I would give is in a next model, to add the possibility to control the speed or strength of the strokes. My fiance does not like a strong massage so he just tried it for a few minutes. But for me it is perfect!
