Soft, comfortable and lightweight swaddle bag suitable for my newborn! Would highly recommend!

These are new to us and we wish we’d found them sooner. They’re nicely made, of soft, quality materials, even softer inside than out. The range of sizes makes them suitable for babies from birth to 3 years (as long as you don’t mind buying a series of them!).The design is just right, allowing plenty of leg movement without being too loose. It’s easy to take the bag with you on your travels, providing familiar bedding for babies away from home. Zip access simplifies night-time nappy changes, and washing couldn’t be easier.A baby in the sleeping bag can’t kick it off and get cold, the way they can with conventional bedding. They’re snug and comfortable, arms tucked in, secure and warm.All the bags in the range are attractively presented, incidentally, so would make lovely gifts. I really can’t recommend them enough.

Our little one has a really sensitive startle reflex and we keep being advised to swaddle her so I thought this would be good for us. Unfortunately, she doesn't really like it and prefers having her arms free, plus she can roll already so this isn't considered safe for her.Pros:• Pretty pink design• Convenient zip that can be undone from the top or bottom so you can easily change your baby's nappy without undressing them• Swaddles arms and body tightly to give baby illusion of being secure in the womb• Cute little tag you can keep to remind you of the tog rating and what they should wear in different temperatures• Well-known original Grobag with a reputation for safety and trustworthy brand• Very small head hole so baby can't shuffle down into bag• Lovely soft, thin material which can be tumble dried on low heat so quick to dryCons:• My little girl doesn't like it personally and wants her arms free• Not safe when baby can roll (my girl is only 5 weeks and can roll onto her side and I just don't want to risk it!)So overall, it's a well designed sleeping bag in terms of aesthetics and functionality, it's just a shame my little girl doesn't like it! I am more of a fan of the snuggle range where you can choose whether their arms are in or out (or just leave one arm out for transitioning). The quality, however, is great and if your baby likes to be swaddled this is perfect and a trusted product from a trusted company.

Thin and lightweight. 62% cotton, 34% viscose 4% elastane. Super soft, a unique cotton blend infused with naturally soothing aloe vera which is kind to sensitive skin. Has a 2 way zip fastening, so it can be opened out flat from the top or bottom, so easier not to disturb your little one if you're trying to do a nappy change in the night. Over each zip fastening end, theres an extra tab of material to cover the zip, good to stop the zip rubbing on their neck. Theres a handy guide to help you choose what your little one should be wearing underneath, to ensure they're at the optimal temperature not being too hot or cold. Comes well packaged in a cardboard packaging with all the useful information. Suitable to be washed at 40 degrees. Spacious and with room for growth. Excellent quality, no odd threads sticking out or any stitching out of place. Zip is smooth to open and close, with no catching or getting stuck at all. No inside labels on the neck to cause irritation. Great for your little one to sleep snugly, cosy and safely, without having the worry of covers.

I am in two minds about this bag. On the one hand, babies at this age are not turning about too much in their sleep. But they do kick their legs. And the zipper (that even on this tiny size is unlined) will get in the way at some point. And if your kiddo picks up on changes of texture and is, generally, fidgety, this zipper might wake the up. It is made of great fabric, breathable and cooling in hot months, the print is cute, not too bright and unsettling. The design is good too, it is snug fitting in the upper part so that your child is safe in it. And the zipper is not all that rough, to be honest. It is just slightly different, and knowing how inflexible zippers are in reality you can understand where I am coming from. This brand is not for very plump babies, the sizing is quite snug-fitting as it is. Great thing but pricey. It is a great gift, nut be aware, babies will grow out of it almost immediately (it might last a month or so at best).
