Pursuing God really is an adventureโone that can get extreme, one you'll never tire of. Becoming a young man after God's own heart is a lot like climbing a mountain. You'll find all sorts of challenges on the way up, but the awesome view at the top is well worth the trip. Real success in lifeโthe kind that counts with Godโstarts by discovering God's priorities for you. These include... building your faith choosing the right kinds of friends getting along at home winning the battle over temptation making right choices about the future Once you get started on this journey, you'll never be the same! Includes new and revised content. Review: Book as described - In great condition. Arrived within estimated delivery. I love the concept of "...after God's own heart". The variety of books written with this title for both men and women by Jim George and Elizabeth George wisely sum up the truth of God's word on the given topic and even address topics of the Christian walk that some may be unsure how to go about; such as, "What does God expect of me? How can I grow as a Christian? How does God call a believer, no matter the age, to live and walk in His ways?" Would recommend this book! Very good advice
Great light reading for a young adult, new teenagers with a Christian heart. My 13 year old son really enjoyed it, and took a lot out of good advice from it. I'd recommend to any teen boy.

Very inspiring/motivating
Great book! Good for any young man. Easy to read and understand. Very inspiring. I am a youth leader and I give this book to each of the guys in my group (ages 12-18) when they get baptized.

Good Bible study book for teens
This book was used by my husband and our male teen friend. It was a good study that they could do together to help strengthen and encourage eachothers walk.

This is an awesome book and I think every young man should read this book. I would suggest having them read a Boy after God's own heart first. It gives the child the basics and really prepares them for what will be discussed in this book. A boy after God's own heart is also written by Jim George.

but advice is good. i think it would be useful for people ...
Written in an slightly patronising way and obviously American, but advice is good. i think it would be useful for people to discuss & encourage each other.I shall buy a couple more to distribute to members of our Youth Group. Definitely worth a look. What we really need is a male equivalent of "Cherished" or "Beloved" by Rachel Gardener
