Hello Tara! I forgot to check what size I bought but I believe I bought a large or extra large (?) for my dog who is about 42 pounds. I believe he is about 36 inches long from neck to bottom. It fit him perfectly. Hope this helps.

Q: Will the large fit a Chocolate Lab?

Dear Kathryn, my dog is a miniature dachshund. We first bought our Gertie the size large, because she was at the time a little chubby. We ended up returning it, because it was huge. This was in 2010, and I am trying to remember how big it was. A dachshund compared to a lab is quite a difference in size. I do remember Amazon being really great about returning it and not charging me for return postage. The only thing I can tell you is that the medium fit her great and it was really cute, plus we will have wonderful memories of that Halloween, because Gertie is now paraylzed.
