It’s awesome, value for money. To get best quality you must have your software settings too.Movie cancellation will only worked with the video editing software’s settings only. It’s compatible with my mac and windows pc. Captures sound nicely. Mute button is very hand, functions perfectly

Worst Mic? Purchased in 2024
The HyperX SoloCast is hands down the best budget mic out there. Its listed price is around ₹5,500, but during sales like the Big Billion Day or Amazon Festival, you can grab it for under ₹4,000. I got mine last year during a festival deal, and it was worth every penny. The mic delivers exceptional audio quality—so good that even some ₹20,000 microphones can’t match it if you know how to use it properly. However, it doesn’t come with built-in noise cancellation, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Luckily, you can easily fix this with software. For best results, I recommend using Audacity (add treble, avoid extra bass) or Adobe Audition. Place the mic about 15 cm from your mouth for clean and professional sound. Even if you’re not a sound engineer, this mic is perfect for normal recording, streaming, or online calls.Overall, it’s a fantastic budget-friendly choice with pro-level performance if used correctly.

Not worth the price
Mic is decent, no inbuilt noise cancellation so that's a minus point, but overall it's average and expensive for the quality we recieve on this price range

Sound Quality Like A Professional Microphone
Amazing microphone. I was very surprised to hear its sound quality. One thing to note, is that it's a condenser type mic and will pick up noise/echo from surroundings. That's just how condenser mics are. You will need to sound-treat your room for best results or use a noise suppression/noise gate along with dereverb in your favorite video/audio editor. If you need a mic where the sound fades away when you pull your face further from it just a few inches, then what you're looking for, is a dynamic microphone. You've seen them used in singing shows. They don't pick up the surrounding noise due to their nature but it comes at the cost of producing a sound that isn't as warm as the one produced by a condenser microphone.

Has all the essentials checked. Great overall package with right settings when recording
Cons1. Forget using it with stock stand if you intend to use it on desk surrounded by keyboard clicks and hand movements on desk this thing produces a rumble check youtube alpha gaming video where he compares this with razer siren mini and snowball and a fifine its exactly like that. There are other videos which also document this.2. No software customising of voice texture3. No gain knob on mic but that's ok.4. No zero latency monitoring but that's ok they have added a better mic hardwareWorkaround for rumble on win plus obsI had a Ahuja desk mic stand I hooked it up on that but did not have a shock mount for this it was still catching the rumble added a noise suppression filter called RSSNoise and it worked much better. Will update if I find a better solution.Well now that we have got the hard part of out of the way lets talk pros.Pros1. Plug and play tested on win 10, android (OnePlus 8T), ipad Air with USB 3 adapter.2. On Windows 10 worked instantly with OBS.3. It's usb type c4. Mic mute button on top, this is the best and it's a capacitive touch button I would buy just for this5. If you don't fidgit on your desk the audio is really good and if u place it close to your mouth it's nice and clean and warm which I liked.6. If you ignore the rumble effect the actual audio captured in obs is really good.7. At 5790 it is really great value for money hyperx got the right mix for this price type c , the mic , tap to mute and that indicator led upfront. Minimal design for the money. Great balance I would say for design components.8. Finding a mic at low price which just works out of the box without driver issues on so many platforms is great.9. Overall mic voice pickup pattern is great and does descent background rejection of other stuff if u speak closer to the mic and keep the gain in obs to -25db or -20db.check my attached screenshot for final OBS settings. Will add here as I discover more.
