Reviews complained that “vintage gate” was rusted! But in our historical yard, we wanted this style. It’s not rust! It’s painted with good quality to look like rust and old green paint!It’s a nice study metal and works fine with our own hinges.

It came in rusted but was in a sealed plastic wrapping. So perhaps moisture got in somehow.But it wasn't damaged (surface level only) and is exactly what I'm looking for and are now out of stock, so I painted it with rustproof paint.

I love this gate so much!!! Looks vintage but very sturdy and in tact. Will be perfect for my cutting garden!

We never received the first order for this gate but the second did arrive and we love it!

When we opened the box, it had a number of large rust areas on it; also, paint job was very poor (multiple drips). We decided not to return it, because we needed to put up the gate right away. While sanding off the rust, we noticed places where they had painted over previous rust. Definitely not worth the price!

Perfect color

never described as having rusted parts....I don't mind worn, but rusted is a problem......
