Great tool
I was having trouble getting my derailleur to shift good on all gears, I could get it working on the first 8 or so or the last 8, but not every gear. I decided to check the hanger & it was off a little. This tool helped me get it back straight & now shifting perfect again. (MTB 12 speed with SRAM AXS.) just screw it to the hanger & check distance to wheel front to back & top to bottom. Tool is very sturdy with no play or looseness to speak of. Good quality tool. I have read reviews on the cheaper amazon tools that say they have a few mm of play at the end of the tool, this one does not, in my opinion it is better to pay a little more for something that is good quality & you can rely on.

Indispensable
C’est un outil indispensable pour entretenir ses vélo ou en réparer. Le fonctionnement est simple et les résultats sont là. L’alignement du dérailleur est donc parfait et donc le réglage du dérailleur aussi. C’est un investissement qui en vaut la peine.

I still don't believe how well this works
One of these should come with every bike that uses a hanger.I've been so frustrated with my finicky Eagle GX over the years, I didn't realize it was a bent hanger most of the time. Just realigned the hanger on my Mojo HD3, and it's shifting like I just got it tuned at the shop (which I did - two weeks ago). I didn't think my riding was that hard, and I definitely baby the bike during transit to not bang it around, but I guess even moderate technical features (roots, small drops, etc) are enough to bang the hanger out of true. Game changer for amateur wrenches like me.

Buon Utensile

Absolutely Amazing
I've never written a review literally minutes after using a product. Took about 10 minutes to use the product. Be careful when removing the derailleur from its hanger, and especially when screwing it back on. Easy to cross thread. This thing, it may be a bit pricey, but does it ever work. Watch Park Tool's video on how to properly use it. My derailleur hanger looked halfway decent to the eye, but it was pretty decently bent inward.... According to this gauge/tool. You can not tell without it.Followed their procedures in their video, and GENTLY used it to bend the derailleur hanger. The derailleur needed a little low limit screw loosening after adjusting with this tool, and done. Shifts better than when brand new, which means the hanger was probably imperceptibly bent in shipping.I usually spend some money on good tools for some tasks, and this is absolutely a case of right tool for the job. It is 100% needed to align a derailleur and get it shifting smoothly.Buy it, and keep it amongst your tools. You're going to need it again. You can probably have a bike shop do this once for around the cost or maybe a little less than this tool. You're going to need to re-align again in the future, so owning the tool that the shops use is just awesome.Haven't done a test ride, but compared to how it was shifting during non-riding adjustment before, it's literally working 100%. Well done Park Tools.
