Shrinkage
The fabric of this PJ set is comfortably warm for winter and it's lightweight and packable. After washing in cold water and air drying (twice), the set has shrunken 3.5" - arms, legs, and rise no longer fit. The proportions may suit a petite woman better than average height. Disappointed.

Soft, silky, but waist a bit uncomfortable.
Soft, silky, and generally comfortable. Wish the waistband were either wider or a bit looser for a comfortable fit. If that condition were met, I would sleep in them.

VERY NICE!
I bought my silk underwear decades ago....literally...at L.L. Bean when you could count on them for a quality product. I loved mine and wore them and wore them until I finally wore them out. I went back to L.L. Bean but the reviews were quite negative, saying the quality had deteriorated over the years and the product is now disappointing. Ditto for Land's End and REI. Wow! So, I bought a set from an unknown supplier here on Amazon for half the cost of the other companies' offerings and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. The quality is excellent and I plan to purchase a second pair. I was leery about Chinese sizing and feared they'd be too short in the arms and legs but they're okay. I'm 5'7 and 145# but I ordered an XL for that reason and they just fit without being tight. I'd have to say they "run small" by American standards. These would double nicely as sleepwear for those who like to travel light and I'm sure they'd wash by hand and air dry in a matter of hours.

BEST of CURRENT BRANDS but NO SUBSTITUTE for THE NOW GONE “WINTER SILKS”
Comfortably lightweight. Warm. Best of 5 different cold weather underwear I’ve bought. Wish they came in different styles (V-neck, scoop neck, sleeveless, shirt-sleeved, 3/4 sleeves, knee-length pants, stirrup pants, etc.) and different thicknesses the way WinterSilks.com did before the WinterSilks was bought up by the junky Blair-Appleseed’s company that discontinued almost all the underwear styles plus hiked up theirprices and is hawking cheap, ugly clothes.

Works Very Well in My Weird Allergy World
These are a very comfortable top and bottoms set. They add a layer of warmth without bulk. I went with 100% mulberry silk for several reasons: 1. These are sewn with silk thread which is a blessing to my very sensitive skin that doesn't tolerate polyester/synthetic thread, 2. The overall lightweight knit, 3. Because of my allergy issues I'm very limited on what I can wear, 4. My "secret" alternative use as footless tights with dresses and boots may sound weird but turns out ti be quite practical, if unusual. 😉 Hope that's helpful to others.
