Bioitalia Cannellini Organic Beans, 14 Ounce (Pack of 12)

These are wonderful beans, a staple in our home. I am an Italian Grandma with a bent toward organically grown, vegetarian, a little fish, whole food and making everything from scratch. This little can of beans is my go-to convenience food. Soaking and cooking my own beans is my preferred way, but then one has to think about tomorrow's dinner tonight. These beans, along with good EVOO and a little fresh garlic and herbs are the beginning of many a delicious quick, last minute meals and, to be honest, are as good as those I'd prepare myself. I formerly used Eden Cannellini, but I don't like having my food supplier's non-food related politics splashed before me publicly--especially when they don't agree with mine. These beans are even better, so I guess I should thank them for forcing me to do more research.

I love these beans and I love the fact that they are organic. I don't buy them if they are not. Although overall I like them a lot, I would like them to be a little bit softer in texture but it's really not that big a deal. Some of the cans arrived dented (not the manufacturers fault). I would definitely buy them again and probably will soon.

These beans are fabulous, the best ever, but every single can was dented either in transit or before, so I do not trust any of it, some quite badly. Because I keep things on the shelf a while, I am confident these will leak. There was no stuffing whatsoever in the carton to prevent this, so I wont be buying. Too bad.

these are by far the best tasting imported beans you can buy... perhaps a little more costly than others, but it's worth it for the quality
