Put this in my 2000 Silverado that I am restoring, after the canister vent, I knew immediately that this is part of my problem when the damn truck took off up the road. Low revs and acceleration just seem instant, previously I though there was a problem because there was slow pick up. It must be a 25% power increase at a guess, it's smooth to accelerate now too. Just hope the engine light doesn't come on again. If it does I'll send her ass sea worthy!!

***update 1/6/2020*** Goal was to fix the engine code P0446 (EVAP System Vent Control Circuit): I purchased and installed the following parts in order: 1. ACDelco 214-646 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Purge Valve 2. ACDelco 214-1091 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Vent Valve -> Same P0446 check engine light code came back after driving about 200 miles 3. ACDelco 215-407 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister 4. ACDelco MU1615 GM Original Equipment Fuel Pump and Level Sensor Module with Seal, Float, and Harness -> Cleared Code, driven ~80 miles, no code yet... ***update 12/18/19*** Check engine light came back after driving about 200 miles with both the ACDelco 214-646 AND the ACDelco 214-1091 installed. Same P0446 code. ordered new gas cap. If gas cap doesnโt work, then the charcoal canister. โโโโ Very easy to install. Located at front of engine above the throttle body under the plastic engine cover. Purchased this ACDelco 214-646 AND the ACDelco 214-1091 in the hopes of fixing the engine code P0446 (EVAP System Vent Control Circuit). So far I have installed both items, cleared the engine code and driven only about 30 miles and the code has not returned yet (although the car needs to be driven much more to say for sure that I have fixed the issue). *note* to remove the plastic line, just push on plastic slide clip while pressing the hose down toward the engine (pressing down toward the engine is just to break the plastic line loose before pulling up). Then pull up on the hose. The plastic line clip is brittle and can break easily. You should only need to push in the plastic slide clip in order to remove the plastic line.
