Franca Franzoni Honey, Millefiori, 8.8 Ounce

Delicious honey. Might only be mine, but the honey had began to sugar when I received it. A simple heating brought it back to life.

Jar arrived broken - an unusable mess.

This is an excellent example of this style of honey, though a bit runny/thin in texture to be my ideal. It does add some nuttiness not found in the Rusticella d'Abruzzo honey, and that may be preferable to some palates.

There seemed to be some extra sediment in this honey which was not objectionable but just a little strange. Perhaps in the future they should filter it just a bit.

I heard the benefit of chesnut honey from my friend. I was having stomach problems and using medicine to reduce stomach acid. After my friend's advise, i bought this product and started to eat one teaspoon before breakfasts. Now i feel much better without even using medicine.

Read about this brand on SeriousEats and did not disappoint. Expensive for a jar of honey but imported and so amazingly delicious! I use it sparingly as a treat over some nice Italian cheeses! Would buy again.

This is really an original chestnut honey. You can understand with your first spoon. The smell, flavour and bitterness is a perfect combination.
