Overpriced here, but great food!
My cats love this food. It contains chunks of meat in a semi-jelly gravy. It's made in Thailand, which has some of the strictest pet food processing guidelines in the world. Only buy pet food made in US, Canada, or Thailand. The ingredient list is consistent with most high-end brands, having the first 2-3 ingredients being a meat product. The price used to be about $34 for a 24-pack of 5.5 oz cans when I ordered ~2 months ago. Now it's $41, which is an absurd change. Today I found it again for $34 on chewy.com with free shipping over $50. So look around if this amazon price remains this high.

Reformulation ruined this product
I have one cat who is extremely picky, and another who will eat anything. At first I was so thankful to find that particular brand/flavor configuration would be eaten by both of them. Then with this last batch with a new label, the contents of the can went from a nice solid gel full of food that you could slice and easily serve out of the can, to a pile of diarrhea that's probably edible, but is not what you want to be looking at first thing in the morning? Kind of like when no matter how much you wipe there's still something left, there will always be this new asian fusion left in the can. When I first got this batch of cans I knew instantly our picky eater wouldn't eat it, which is frustrating enough, but when I tried to feed it to the cat who eat's everything and he refused it, leaving me with a pile of worthless cans of cat food, I knew I had to warn others. Weruva, I get cost cutting, it's a fact of life, and reformulation can be a bitch, but this went waaay too far. You should have released this under a different brandname, and if you did this to all your flavors then, well, it was nice knowing you but I don't expect I'll be your brand around much longer.

the most loved cat food by our little ones that we've ever tried
We've added some other flavours to the cat's meals lineup, but they still definitely prefer Weruva fish flavours (Polynesian BBQ is by far the one they go nuts for but they like all of the varieties for the most part). Concerned about talk surrounding the additive "K3" (also known as mendadione) I sent a message to Weruva asking many questions about it and got a wonderful reply which was entirely personalized and put the issue in context and persective. Weighing everything together, I still have to let you know that the difference in activity and health since switching to these canned foods (especially for our boy, Ishmael who had weight and urinary tract problems, even while on expensive "prescription" diets for years) is nothing short of amazing. He even stopped shedding hair, nearly entirely for 6 months and the softness of his coast is night and day. He is now thin and active and now that he's going on 9 years old, he seems more like the cat he was when he was 2 or 3 (though slightly lazier). The combination of this food plus a a bit of 3 other grain-free very well made dry formulas we've found has been nothing short of miraculous. He's a new cat... and the little one, Georgie will never know what its like to eat like he did. What's more is that all of the flavours look and smell like FOOD... I've even tasted some of them and it truly is human grade or very close to it. Great product by a concerned company.

The NEW "With Gravy" Asian Fusion is a BIG FAIL
My cat loved the OLD Asian Fusion. And it always made me happy to give her that food. It was packed with a variety of seafood and was substantial. The new version has so much "gravy" (which seems like a fancy way of saying water) added that 1) It doesn't go as far 2) I don't see much actual solid food and 3) My cat is vomiting from it. After nearly 13 years of being proud to provide my cat with this brand and turning so many new cat owners onto Weruva brand cat foods, I am searching for an alternative. I feel really bad for my 13 year old cat who has had the rug pulled from under her. I'm scouring local stores trying to find any of the old version left on shelves. Please just raise the price if that's what's needed. The quality of this product is beneath your brand name.

great, now remove the potatoes
My five cats love most of these with a passion unrivaled by other brands.I had one occasion where a batch of Asian Fusion made all cats immediately vomit after eating it. Every cat rejected it! Horrified, I tossed that, got a refund, and alerted the company. They were polite and had no explanation. I have not purchased that flavor since. It was not old, I have no idea what was wrong with that case. I have not had a problem since.I do wish they did not use potato starch as a filler in some of the flavors, it might be "grain free" but the whole point of "grain free" cat food is to reduce carbs ,a la the cAtkins diet, what cats do best on.The related Tiki cat brand has almost identical products without the potato starch so I have switched to that.Mack and Jack is the hands down winner for most cats.

Cat got super sick
I always give my cat Weruva canned food but I had never tried this flavor before. I always did the chicken or steak. At first I noticed my cat sort of taking his time before starting his meal. This is very very unusual because he very very food motivated and usually tries to hog down food even before I can put it down. I should have seen the signs and just stopped right there. Then suddenly one day he threw up and had the runs. I gave him chicken after that and he was fine again. Since we had so many cans of the tuna, I gave some tuna to him again thinking that it was just a fluke, but that's when my poor kitty got really really sick. He threw up multiple times and had major poopie accident on the floor. It was heartbreaking and I can't figure out why he had such a negative reaction to the Asian Fusion. Back to Paw Licking Chicken for him.

Weruva cat food
Excellent cat food that is recognizable as a food. (I find that it looks and smells a lot better than some of the canned stuff that *I* eat.) I highly recommend it.If you have a cat with a grain allergy like I do, a number of the Weruva flavors are completely grain free. The ones that aren't only use rice.
