The box itself arrived with some scratches and bumps, nothing to alarming but given the price of the item, such a lack of proffesionalism when handling the item is very dissapointing. Regarding sound, the notes do sound most of the time in tune, however play a tune over several times, and some of the holes punched will start to widen up, causing disonances and alterations on the original melody. Ithink this could be due to the poor quality of the paper.Overall, price does not add up to the quality of product

I have this box for more than 8 monthsThe most annoying thing is that one of its notes does not work. I tried 2 types of paper but it didn't work. I cannot play at least 3 of my beloved melodies correctly because of this.

The box is lovely, the mechanism is nice, my complaint is that the gear linking the turn handle to the rest of the mechanism was knocked out of alignment during shipping. It shouldn't be terribly difficult to fix, but it does illustrate the fragile nature of the thing. It is certainly not meant for clumsy or reckless people.

Works as expected. Would buy again!
