I really like this large variable desk. Recommend you cut out the desktop dimensions on a piece of cardboard and place it where the unit will sit. This will allow you to make sure your space will fit this very large desk. I use a 17-inch laptop plus a 24-inch monitor with a keyboard and mouse. It fits all, and I still have room for coffee cup and my forearms. I use mostly at full height where I can rest my arms on the very smooth surface. Very steady even with all of the weight and I like the smooth surface. Be aware that the desks with the small lip on the edge can be an irritant to your forearms. The smooth and diminishing edge taper on this one makes it really comfortable. Lifting and lowering is fairly easy if you take your time. I expect this to be a part of my office for many years. Hope the quality is built to last.

I love this desk! It is super easy to adjust and makes it a breeze to adjust the height from sitting to standing. It does require two hands to lift, but the non-lever side just needs a little help when lifting and lowering. It is a great value and completely stable, super easy to use.

Love the style, angled front for arm comfort, great size. But...be very careful when lowering. As it gets a few inches from closing it seems to just crash down hard unless you are holding really tight to gently guide it down. I only have a laptop and monitor on it so it's not too much weight.

Room enough to fit two 24" Monitors on the desk, I am currently using it right now to type this review. It's pretty sturdy, I will lean on it with my elbow from time to time. It requires a little force to pull up or down, so a child wouldn't be able to bring it down for the most part. I have experienced more expensive brands, so I am sure you are getting your money's work with the product. Surface is smooth and feels better than my original desk. The easy access latch on the side doesn't take away from the design. When it sits in the down position on the desk, it will make your desk a little higher but you can adjust your seat to match. I've been using for a few weeks and feel good about the purchase. Seller did respond to an issue/question I had about the delivery of my product and I am a satisfied customer.

Didn't get to this up right away. So, my return period lapsed before I got a chance to break it out of the box and put it to use. Bit of warning to those considering this. Make sure you use super light monitors! And you'll probably not want to put much stuff on top of this desk because guess what? You'll add more weight to what you need to pull up. Yep, getting this to lift up is not an easy task. I'm using two 27" Asus Monitors, along with a keyboard and mouse, and it's quite a workout trying to raise this. The hydraulics(?) or air shocks that assist in lifting this desk doesn't work. I was expecting it to spring upwards when you pull the lever to release the locks, but it doesn't. You have to put a lot of elbow grease into it, in order to initiate upward movement. Oh, and when lowering, I have to hold onto the desk to slowly lower it. Otherwise, it slams down into my table. Heavens forbid someone has their hands underneath... this desk doesn't lower slowly at all! I'm not sure if the one I receive is defective, but it's quite a struggle just to lift two monitors along with this desk. It's so bad, I don't even feel like raising it up anymore. It was the best bang for the buck at the time, but I come to find out, there's mechanical ones that raise and lower with a push of a button for similar price now. Oh well, gonna donate this dead weight to charity. It's functionally useless to me.
