For the second time, this product arrived greasy with individual boxes open under the plastic covering. The boxes are greasy and have come apart on the ends. Product fell out onto floor from first box. Then I noticed the product was moldy on one end rendering it inedible. I didn’t look yet to see if the other boxes contain moldy product but most of the individual boxes are open and moist so I am afraid to eat any of it.The boxes were moist and falling apart last time I ordered this item but I figured maybe that was a one time deal. I will not be ordering this product again, which is sad because if you get a good batch, they are delicious

These are really dried out low quality pocket pies. The filling is made from God knows what and doesn't resemble anything that you would consider a pie filling. It reminds me of something that you would find in a nuclear shelter that had been stocked in the sixties and just opened up after sixty years. Not something that you would really want to eat. In fact, the only positive thing that I can say about these fossils, is that they have nice looking packaging. Unfortunately, its not the packaging you are supposed to eat and yet the pie tastes more like cardboard packaging than a tasty pie.

The crust is softer than the cheapo kind. But it is not too soft. It's glazed but not coated. A perfect wrapping. I zapped for 30 seconds. The blue berry fruit filling is so delicious I had to put the rest far away from sight or I'd eat a second one in a snap. A perfect dessert.

The chocolate pies were good. However the pie crust was somewhat hard and way too sugary. We might try them again and hope they are more soft and not to much sugar. I need expiration date also.

As a lover of the old Hostess Lemon filled pies, I was sad when I could not find them in stores any longer. I found these online and was very excited to try them!! What I found was good, however, I was expecting better. Pie crust is tasty, but too moist. The product does state "lightly glazed" which is accurate. I would like more glaze and a crispier crust. That being said, who doesn't like a good hand held pie??!! The filling was a bit too gelatinous. Maybe too much corn starch in the filling? I would have liked a stronger lemon taste. I'm not giving up though!! I'm ordering the lemon cream pies to compare!! Also, the blackberry pies are to die for!! (Just want more glaze)

I am not a “pie” person. I like Apple and Chocolate, that's about it. I purchased a box of these, as my dessert after my meal. I have to say, I was very impressed. Since I have eaten a lot of chocolate pies, I know what they are supposed to taste like. THIS is what they are supposed to taste like. Not sure how you can my guess semi-mass produce such a good chocolate pie, but they found a way. This is NOT a Home-Made Chocolate Pie, but it is a reasonable, easy, replacement. It's a great treat when you just want something sweet to eat.

They were basically soggy even heated them in air fryer and almost fell apart trying to get it out. Not worth price nor further purchase.

The first box of 12 I ordered a few months ago were good. Solid crust great taste. The second orfer this past week, just the oposite ! Soggy crust, weird consitsnacy of the "berry" interior. Took on bite and threw it away. Amazon CS refunded me without issue but I threw away the other 11. In reading the reviews, I saw there was no expiration on any of the product, including the shipping box it came in. I tried to find a JJ Pie company online and could not find it. I would write to them directly but can't find them. I would not purchase this product. Other than that, life is good. :)
