What is the height, from the floor to the top rail of gate, after the gate has been installed?

30.5 inches from floor to top of gate. BUT, it depends on how you attach it to wall. My husband did it almost flush with floor. There is a middle knob that twists and provides support. This can be twisted to provide more middle support and can touch or not touch the floor. We keep it off the floor but still providing support on transitions because it scratches as you open it. We could just add some felt, but never did.

How many wall mounts are included in the box? Want to use at the top of basement stairs which have no banisters but oversize baseboard? Thx!

For mounting to a wall with baseboards it came with 1 Vertical mounting tube and 3 plastic wall spacers . You put screws through all of those and into the wall. I would use wall anchors (good quality molly's) if you don't have a stud behind the sheetrock in the space you are mounting to. I don't think it came with wall anchors. We just cut a long piece of wood and painted it to match before mounting it and then you have equal support behind the mounting bars all the way down. We love the gate and the piece of mind it provides.

Our post is 5 1/2" on each side for a total of 22" around. Will this gate attach around that?

No. The straps that wrap around the post are only 16" long. You would need 22" at a minimum.

Can this be installed with banister-wall without screwing into wall side?

I was wondering the same thing. Let me know if you found one that doesn’t require any drilling.

es un buen podrusto ya que tiene varias opciones para la insatalacion de acuerdo a como sea tu escalera aparte de que se puede abrir toda y puedes pasar facilmente, Para abrirla si se puede hacer con una sola mano para cerrarla si necesitas las dos pero para mi no existe problema con eso. la recomiendo mucho.
