My knee has arthritis It has only been getting worse for three years. I've tried various OTC pills and knee supports with only slight improvement. My doctor has been talking about knee replacement surgery. Then I found patella knee straps. I first went with another (cheaper) brand. It helped a lot, but the strap was too short and the Velcro kept coming undone. Then I bought this one. Both the cheaper strap and this one worked equally well, but this one stays on. My knee pain started getting better, with noticeable improvement on day one. Every day it got better. After a couple of weeks, much of the pain was gone, and I could only notice improvement week-by-week. It's now been two months, and I frequently go a few days without wearing the strap, the pain is almost completely gone, I now only wear it when I anticipate activity that will result on stress on my knee. My belief is that every time my knee hurts, I am causing more damage, and it kept getting worse and worse. Once the pain went away, I stopped damaging my knee, and it got better and better even without use of the strap. Now I only have pain with twisting motion (slight pain), so as long as I can avoid twisting motion or I cancer the strap, my knee improves instead of getting worse. By the way, at its worse a few months ago, I would get out of the car (where sitting or getting out caused twisting motion) and it was very painful to put any weight on that leg. Then I would kick that leg out a few times, and be able to walk for a while. This led me to suspect the patella was getting out of position. This strap apparently keeps it in place. And it doesn't need to be tight, light pressure does the trick.

Really helps with my knee pain

The only con I have is that I didn't find this product 10 years ago. My knees have been bone on bone for some time and give out which makes using a cane a must to prevent a fall. Pro's, the most comfortable support ever, never slips or gets wrinkles that pinch and itch. I actually put it on and forget it. I was surprised that it does not show under long pants. Once on, it doesn't move and helps support the slipping of the knee that allows me to do some exercising which hopefully will strengthen natural support and maybe get rid of the cane. Still have pain but less. This is a great product, adjusts perfectly to when legs are swollen, very pleased altogether. Thanks for making life better for me.

This product is for those who have issues with their patellar tendon and knee stabilization. I don't profess to know all the conditions that might benefit but certainly arthritis in the knee cap and tendinitis certainly qualify. I have arthritis under the knee cap that causes the knee cap to shift side to side creating instability and pain. The Paragon knee strap has been very effective in stabilizing the knee cap and while it doesn't eliminate the pain and discomfort (did not expect it to), it certainly has minimized it quite a bit to where I can climb the stairs more easily, bike without discomfort, and use the elliptical. It is easy to put on and the two "handle" strap makes it easier than other products to adjust and get a good, tight fit. While wearing I have not had any issues with the velcro rubbing on the back of my knee but do make sure that when tightening there is no velcro "peeking" out because the strap is misaligned with the velcro side. Overall, I have been very happy with the product, ease of use, and durability (only been 2-3 weeks so reserve the right to change this part of my review).

I bought these because of the chondromalacia in both knees and also because of the reviews. A lot of people stated that these work for them. I don’t think these are very supportive for me when I take dance classes that are very high impact. I was still in pain. I tried readjusting and tightening, but it was not helpful. They were pretty comfortable I guess. I may need to try something else.

This patella knee strap is very well made. The stitching and material are first rate. Let me say.... I have very large calves and this product went around my calf BUT it was too small to actually Velcro it into place. I was very disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to use this. That being said I have to tell you that I would absolutely order from this company again! Their customer service is the best I have encountered. The add stated 100% money back guarantee so when it didn’t fit, I tried to return via amazon but couldn’t. So I contacted the seller. The seller reached out to me and explained how I could get my money back from Amazon. I tired and couldn’t do it. I told the seller thank you but was unable to complete the procedure. They emailed me back and told me they were going to tell Amazon to issue me a refund. Within a couple hours my refund was back in my Amazon account. I was just goin to accept that I wasted my money but the company stepped up! THIS COMPANY IS DRIVEN TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! They told me to keep the product so I will let my daughter use it and will post an update as to how the produce actually works.
