3-2-1 Letdown
My class used these canisters to make rockets. I had used different canisters in years past that worked wonderfully, including a rocket that reached 10+ feet. The ones I purchased here leaked and fizzled out, the highest rocket reached 1.5 feet, after we used plumber tape to seal the entrance. I felt so bad for my students.

Perfect for storing small items in sturdy containers
There are so many uses for these canisters. As an aside, I'm all about being prepared although I don't think I'd consider myself on the level of a survivalist.I think it's important to keep an emergency stash of cash in your vehicle in case you lose or forget your wallet, or in case it gets stolen. My purse was stolen in 2011 and the ONLY thing that saved me was having a stash of cash in my car. And back in 2008 when there was a gasoline shortage, many of the gas stations in SC didn't accept cards (because they were gouging and wanted as little evidence as possible). Had I not had cash with me the first time I found a gas station that was open, I would have had to leave, find an ATM, and then return, hoping that they still had gas left. I keep one container full of coins and another with cash in small bills.Sometimes I use the laundromat to wash sleeping bags and comforters, and it's nice to have a canister to hold my coins in (I live in a small town and the laundromat doesn't use cards).I keep my supplements in the at work, and I just label the containers. This way I don't have large bottles of supplements in my desk.As I get closer to the 2016 Susan G. Nice little containers
Nice little containers, can be used for film canisters but I mainly got them so I can organize stuff and for the occasional polymer clay storage. All 20 were delivered fine, they open and shut easily and securely, nothing looks damaged or warped. I'm already using a few to store my different beads. I'm using another few to keep my polymer clay that I've watered down for different purposes. There's honestly an endless amount of things you can use these for and that's why I was happy to order them. You get 20 for 10 bucks too which I think is a pretty good deal, that's like .50 cents per container and they're super useful so I feel like it's worth it, especially if you've got tons of crafty things that need organizing like I do. Definitely useful for small stuff like beads and jewelry parts. I imagine they'd also be nifty for storing certain things in the kitchen too. Maybe even storing loose metal nails and such if you have a lot of building stuff lying around. Just a ton of possibilities really. These canisters are super handy and they are just like the regular film canisters that you take to the photo shop to have developed! :) The lids have a nice, airtight fit which is handy for many things!I thought about using these for my daily shake powders because I like to switch up my add-ins each day. While I do think they would be great for that, I'm currently using them instead for my daily vitamins and supplements.I've been so complacent lately when it comes to taking them because of what a pain it is to open each bottle daily and get out the supplements. Plus, I can't find a pill organize large enough to fit all the things I need to take. So, these are perfect. I have more than enough space and since there are 20, I have my pills organized for almost 3 weeks!When I first got them, I washed them all in warm soapy water just to be sure that they were clean. That was easy enough. I let them air dry on the counter. From now on, it's smooth sailing.Whether I want to keep organizing my pills or use them for something else, they're perfect for both jobs and so much more. They're far from cheap or flimsy and very portable, too. Exactly as described
These are exactly as described. The seal is tight and secure and the plastic is very thick. They came packaged in a clear plastic bag all loose together. I am looking forward to all the different uses I can come up with. I use them for photography but my wife uses them for her paints and we have found them to be really versatile.
