Works great with Runequest 2 (Classic) and Steve Perrin's Quest Rules as well as BRP.
Just what I needed to punch up the magic in my RQ2/SPQR-based campaign (without doing all the work myself.)

Not a good add on.
Very disappointed in this product. I bought Chaosium's BRP and was impressed with a simple but not simplistic system that could be used for a variety of genres. I bought this hoping to add to the well thought out magic systems from the BRP, and increase my game's spell catalog.After reading this, my best guess is that this is a simple cut and paste from an earlier product. I'm almost positive this is just a re-release under a different name. The magic systems presented are not near as well thought out as the ones in the BRP and seem to reference other products or rules. The systems are clunky.Overall a weak product. Chaosium needs to add some worthwhile add-ons or I'm going to have to abandon what is at its core a wonderful system. Disappointing.
