Wow! What a toy!
This is expensive - yes. But it's just brilliant.. The act of putting the pegs into the hole is itself a good activity for infants and it aids them in their Fine Motor activity.. Then you can just bobble the head which is supr fun (even for adults) and helps them with mastering their pincer grip.. It's a total time pass.. My son will play with the toy for a long time before going to the next.. The shipping was perfect.. Except - I think the original pop up toy is now out dated.. So I recieved the school bus pop up toy - which is very awesome as well..

My son's absolute favorite toy
I cannot say enough great things about this toy! I got this for my son for Christmas. He was 11 months old at the time. After he opened it, he was so completely fascinated by it that none of the other toys that could light up, sing, and dance interested him at all. At first, he could just barely put the pegs back into the holes. He loved teething on them. They're the perfect size for little hands, not too small, not too big. It took took a few weeks until he could put the pegs back in easily. It took another couple weeks after that until he figured out how to 'pop' them. Of course he thought it was totally hilarious and it was so cute to watch. Now at 14 months, his new thing is trying to put two pegs in at one time, and trying to launch them with his index finger instead of his thumb, which is challenging for him. I'm sure soon he'll be more interested in matching the colors, and then after that, trying to launch them to certain places.I have to hide most of my sons toys for a little while, in a toy rotation, so that I can 'reintroduce' the toys when he loses interest. This pop-up toy I have never put in the toy rotation. It is on the floor for him every morning, and every morning he plays with it. Sometimes it has captured his attention for a minute, sometimes 15 minutes. It's just such a great toy. I'm sure it has improved his coordination and dexterity immensely. This is probably going to be THE toy I buy for every pregnant woman or baby I know. It's cute, it's simple, babies love it, and it doesn't sing annoying songs. The only downside is that, if your baby is like mine, the pegs will get carried all around the house and could easily get lost. But this could, of course, be said about any toy with small parts. So don't let that deter you! This toy is great! My son's favorite, and mine!

great little toy
I am a SLP and a mother of 2 grown girls I have used this toy for over 10 years in evals and therapy and it always entices even the most shy child because of the surprise value ofhow this works It is a ton of fun and the kids never get tired of it I use it as a reward at the end of a session and even 4 and 5 yr olds are interested The little ones use it in an evolving manner -first with flat hands or fists and later as fine motor skills kick in - with a single finger As they get older they can match colors of the little people to the place it goesSince they are wood and just the right size to gnaw - I keep mouth toys available instead of these when one of the kids has the look of "gotta chew something"Wish they had this when my kids were little

9 month old baby
My 9 month old loves it! I got it for him in within two week he got the memo. He started with just taking them out but after two weeks of just observing me he finally learned to pop them! It’s such a nicely made toy, very smooth and safe for teething babies
