My old creative nomad muvo 2 4.0 gb - battery is a 3.6 volt, will the 3.7 work? i cannot find a 3.6.

I used a HQRP 3.7 volt in a Creative Nomad (Wow, that's an antique) and it worked fine. The voltage difference didn't seem to make any difference.

The buttons will not respond on my player and when I take the battery out the player reads low battery. Will a new battery help?

If your battery is old I would replace it, but there may be other issues with your MP3 player. It is hard to say if it is just a battery problem or not. When I bought a new battery it fixed my issue.
