Great timer, a few quibbles.
I just bought these for grandma. I think they're great. And they do exactly what they say they will. They even have battery back-up, in case of power failure, so they'll kick on again a day after the power goes on.You can also program them when not plugged in, because they run on the internal rechargeable battery. Very nice.It has 10 timers, and a randomize function i f you want some start times to be randomized up or down a half hour each day. Great feature.I tested it out - it works flawlessly, and the display is well laid out.i love this timer. And for the price? Awesome. Seriously a fan.If I could deduct a 1/2 star, it would be for these things:1. It's a little annoying that if you put it in ON or OFF mode, and then switch to AUTO (i.e. programmed), it gets out of whack until the next timer begins. Not a huge deal..2. When setting a timer, the button that chooses the day you want the timer assigned to is labeled 'Week'. Counterintuitive. I was tired once and was looking for the 'Day' button. yeah, dumb mistake, I figured it out quick. Still, they got it wrong.3. When you program the STOP time for a timer, you have to RE-enter the day you want it assigned to.That's counter intuitive.i.e., you start by choosing a day for a timer. Then assign the hour and minute of the start time.Next, you program stop time. NO YOU DON'T ! You actually have to pick the day AGAIN, for the stop time, and then enter hour and minute that you want the light turned off. What if you neglect to assign a day to the stop time?Answer: It will turn off/on differently than you expect. And you may not be home to notice that !This time is great, but your best bet is to enter all data, then cycle through the timers to make sure you got it how you want it.A few quibbles, easy to handle once you know about them.4 1/2 stars

Very good product; not that hard to program
I purchased these for the grow lights in our greenhouse. I read the instructions first as some comments indicated they are difficult to program. I took note of the features I wanted to use. After that I went back it as needed and it was not difficult to program. The 7-day period is after you step through the individual days. I stumbled on that but it is clear in their example. I just did not read the example before I jump in.Since some features require 2 buttons it is important to keep the manual. I was impressed that Enover sent me the updated manual as an Acrobat file before I even had the chance to install the timers I like the Acrobat file as I keep my manuals on a computer.I like the large screen and the 24 hour format. The timers are plugged in up on a side wall so the screen is easy to read without climbing past the plants. And from that distance I don't have to strain to see a small PM.The backup battery seems very strong. The timer clocks were running when the pair arrived. I was able to program the timers at my desk and merely plug them in. This is a lot better than doing the programming after the timer is plugged into an outlet.I have had other light timers on the front porch lights. These are permanently installed light switches. Some brands do not keep time very well, drifting as much as 30 minutes from the spring to fall DST change. With the backup battery I expect these to do much better over the winter.

Back to Dead, and no longer made.
I had initially written a negative review. Let me get that out of the way first! Then I wrote a positive one after they replaced a faulty unit that went dead in 6 months. These were mostly working well the past few years then this winter started acting up again. Both are non-functioning. Reset, then they work a while, then don't. 4 years and they are basically dead. If you expect things to work for a year then die and need the 10 programs to make an empty house look lived in go for it (or any of the similar versions of this with different brands).I have mechanical timers that I have had for over 20 years and other than the little clicking sound they work fine. They don't have "random" or 10 programmable times to turn things off and on on different days, but they work and keep working.

Five Stars
Easy to set up and works well for 12 days now. Hope it lasts long.First Week Update: the clock reset itself six hours behind. Not sure why. It could be the included rechargeable battery.Eighth day. In four hours it lost 30 mins. Not good. Will exchange!Tenth Day (approx.) Of the two one is keeping perfect time & working well & the second one losing 8 minutes every hour i.e. 5 hours every day.Good product but I buy twice as many as I need hoping only 1/2 are faulty. Update, in the final analysis only 1 in 6 could not be made to work.QCM for quality control MISSING.Finally everything working. The auto on off has to be on auto & it takes some time to cycle to the wanted setting. Will update as needed.Would suggest automatic change at DST.

Restricts the use of the other half of the wall outlet.
This product does what it says it will do and is much easier to program than the last digital timer I bought. But I marked it down because it protrudes into the space needed to use the other slot of the outlet. When this is plugged in, I could fit a basic lamp plug into the other half of the wall outlet, but nothing even a little more bulky than that - certainly not a charger for my phone. If the designers had put just a little more thought into this it could have been a five-star product.

A very sturdy, flexible use product, with excellent vendor support
They work very well. Very easy to program, multiple day of week/weekend selections. I programmed the without bothering with the manual immediately, just because I like to know that I don't have to search for the manual every time.Speaking of which, a later email was sent with the manual update as a pdf. That was good. One of the units failed to route power after a week. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it was immediately replaced by Enover without hassle. So they get to have five stars for not letting me waste my time

Great timers. I have not had any issues with them. I use them everyday with space heaters with 4 timers set on each device. And both work prefect. Very easy to use, set up without reading instructions.

One died after a year....
Worked fine for 12 months, then just stopped functioning. Everything appears normal, ie. programs remain, but it no longer passes power through even when switching to the “on” function. Glad it was a 2 pack so I was able to use the second one as replacement.

it worked great for 3
I bought this product September 2017, it worked great for 3.5 months then started turning the lamp off and on intermittently. Immediately after it started doing that the screen went blank both plugged in and unplugged. I reset the unit several times but am having no luck getting the timer to work.I would not recommend this timer.

Works as designed and great product support.
Ordered two of these, but one was DOA. Contacted Enover and had a new one in a week. They are both working very well but there is a bit of a learning curve with them. Put one on our entertainment system as it was buring lots of electricity when on standby. Other one we use as a random light source when we are away. Very happy with them.
