Butte's Heritage Cookbook Paperback – January 1, 1988

Great old fashioned recipes for the foods you remember as a kid. Lots of good filling, sustaining, one pot meals that actually taste great and leave you satisfied. This was to replace the one worn out one I used for years. Chicken Azteca (spanish rice with chicken) or Italian Hunters Chicken (chicken cacciatore) are only two of the best of hundreds of great meals.

this was a Christmas present for my husband and he just couldn't stop talking about it. He especially liked that it was used and had many hand written notes in it. It will be cherished in our family traditions.

I chose this rating because I ordered 3 of these books to be shipped to 3 different places and not one of the books was the correct one. I got a different book for all 3 of them. They were Christmas gifts.So, I can't rate the item because I did not receive it but I can rate the service as poor.The book I am sure is fine but the service was bad.

This is one of my all time favorite books. I have read it numerous times. I actually have 2 copies and recently ordered one for my brother who has just become an avid cookbook collected.

Wonderful history and pictures of Butte in its heyday ! Would recommend this cookbook to anyone who is interested in Butte and it has great recipes too !

This is a great cookbook...if you can get it! I have looked at one in the past. When I ordered it ..from one of the less expensive sellers ($5), I received some funky nutrition for science workbook for second graders. The actual shipper was Thrift Recyle Management out of Kentucky. That was not even the one I ordered from...some kind of bait and switch. I put a negative review and they said this was shipped by Amazon and that only they could fix it! How about it AMAZON?

I thought I was getting the Buttes heritage cookbook. Instead I got a coloring book titled, “science you can eat”. Not impressed. Not to mention the fact that there was a sticker on the front that said the coloring book was .99.
