As the last flagship DSLR from Canon, I predict it will become a classic and sell for more than list after production stops. I compared the 1DXIII to multiple mirrorless bodies and even though some of the mirrorless formats offer advanced capabilities in some cases (like IBIS), eye fatigue sets in after an hour or two of using any mirrorless body. The clear thru the lens view offered by a flagship DSLR's cannot be met by any mirrorless body. Mirrorless technology is clearly in the hype cycle and will end at which point top end DSLR's will hold and increase in value. The capability offered in the IDXIII is more than needed even for pro's in most cases. It is really a DSLR and mirrorless combined into one having capability of both formats in one body.
